I have always told Kenyans that Ruto’s biggest threat in 2027 is a united opposition, because he can easily manage several weak candidates fighting one another, but one serious candidate backed by the entire opposition would send him home, even if the opposition is yet to say how they will solve many things affecting the country....

The KK camp is not sharp or disciplined enough to coordinate a well planned national rigging operation without fucking things up and leaving evidence everywhere and causing a crisis they cant solve....

The opposition only needs to unite early, field one candidate, protect every vote and let KK regime destroy itself.

Today, I want to appreciate @mwabilimwagodi2 . Despite everything that happened, he stood firm and refused to be intimidated. He lost a well-paying job because he loved his country and dared to speak out against those in power.

Another reason my heart sank when people celebrated the 2022 election was that the warning signs were already there.The behavioural patterns had been there,loud and clear. Why were so many Kenyans blinded to them?

As we approach 2027, let us scrutinise those seeking leadership before we entrust them with power. Examine their character, respect for the rule of law, integrity, temperament, and how they treat those who disagree with them. Elections have consequences and the choices we make today shape the future we live in tomorrow.Look at Kenya now.Why would you use brute force and goons in a mere by election?What do you fear?Unfortunate scenes are here with us for the very choices we made in 2022.

In a case I filed alongside BERNARD MUCHIRI MUCHERE and NAOMI NYAKERARIO MISATI challenging the constitutionality of privatising the Kenya Pipeline Company @kenyapipeline the High Court has explicitly preserved one substantive question for determination on merit:
"Whether the Privatisation of KPC, being primarily driven by IMF loan conditionalities and not an independent sovereign determination of public interest, violates the sovereignty of the people (Article 1), national values of patriotism (Article 10) and constitutes an unlawful abduction of state authority to an external entity."
The Court also directed the Government to produce, within 21 days, important documents relating to the privatisation. The Court has effectively invited the Petitioners to prove, through documentary evidence, that the privatisation was not a sovereign policy choice but a coerced compliance with IMF conditionalities, hence, a violation of Article 2(6) of the Constitution.
