Oh my Lord, someone just shared this alarming story of how people get into Canada. This story pertains to Iranian immigrants, but I'm sure it applies to all others.

So the applicant who want's to immigrate from Iran to Canada finds an employer, and for cultural and language reasons, this employer is usually also Iranian. Then they negotiate a salary, for example 50K/year. Then the applicant wires 50K to the employer's bank account, with an additional agreed upon commission, like 10K. Then the employer hires the applicant, uses that 50K to pay the applicant, now turned employee, and then remits the payroll taxes to the government.

The applicant is happy because they made it to Canada. The employer is happy because they have profited 10K. The government is happy because they have earned some tax revenue.

I imagine this is illegal, somehow, which is why I refused to be a party to it. When I asked the person sharing this story with me if the applicant's immigration lawyer was aware of this scheme, they replied "the lawyers are the ones that set all this up". This has to be illegal.

Meanwhile, when I return to Canada, I get treated by Border Services like a criminal.

A gvmt would not try passing insane bills like bill c-63 if they were concerned in the least bit about losing support from their supporters or even that losing support would equate to a loss of power.

It is evident that Justin Trudeau & the Liberals truly believe they are untouchable.

They are certainly quite confident and comfortable despite overwhelming support against them, almost as if they know something we don't and like they don't think they will be going anywhere.

That's not to say that is the reality, just the optics with how emboldened and fearless they are behaving.

At the very least, that should be questionable to everyone.
