Joy Reid: Brendan Carr is weaponizing the agency to bully and control the press and suppress the wider televised media.
Don Lemon arrested. Georgia Fort arrested. Terry Moran fired from ABC.
Scott Pelley fired from CBS by the clique of far-right ideologues who bought it and handed it over to a zealot named Bari Weiss, who may soon also control CNN.
Jim Acosta out at CNN. Karen Attiah fired from The Washington Post. And me, more than a year ago.
All of us shown the door for just doing our jobs, standing up to the administration and, in my case, also for speaking out against the genocide.

A huge congratulations is in order! Malik Jordan has officially entered the history books of the American legal system. Having completed his entire high school curriculum by age twelve and a university degree in political science by fifteen, Malik spent eighteen months studying advanced jurisprudence independently at his kitchen table. Yesterday morning, the state supreme court confirmed he achieved a top-tier score on his very first attempt, making him the youngest licensed attorney in the nation. He begins a federal clerkship next month. How inspiring is this young man’s journey?
So. The white guy in GA who went home, intentionally put on body armor, intentionally grabbed an AR-15 and intentionally drove back through a family gathering opening fire....
Got an "Aggravated Assault" charge and a $5000 bond. 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
Black folks...please dont let this country try to gaslight you. We aint ever been crazy!
He was Courtside when The Knicks only won 10 games, he’s one of the only Celebs who pays for their Knicks tickets because him & Dolan hate each other, he doesn’t even use The Celebrity entrance at MSG

Not enough people are talking about this.
Trump is trying to escape a $100 million dollar tax penalty, and Senate Republicans are helping him do it.
You know about the $1.8 billion slush fund he tried to create to reward his political allies. They got so much pushback that they’ve halted that, at least for now. But what you probably don’t know is that Trump gave himself, his family, and his businesses complete immunity from IRS audits, past and future.
Everyone focused on the slush fund, and almost nobody noticed the audit immunity. It’s still in place, and it cannot be allowed to stand.
LeBron James has never been benched in the NBA Finals for poor performance. As the primary scorer and playmaker on every Finals team he has led, his coaches have consistently relied on him to play heavy minutes in the biggest moments. Any time LeBron spent on the bench during the Finals was due to routine rest, foul trouble, or minor injuries—not because he was ineffective.

Meanwhile, Michael Jordan was temporarily benched by Phil Jackson to begin the fourth quarter of Game 6 of the 1992 NBA Finals, while the Chicago Bulls trailed.

Jordan fans call him the undisputed GOAT, yet in one of the biggest games of his career, Phil Jackson trusted Scottie Pippen and four role players to lead the comeback.
✅ Jackson opened the fourth quarter with Pippen alongside Bobby Hansen and the Bulls' second unit. That group ignited a 14–2 run, erased the deficit, and shifted the momentum while Jordan watched from the bench.
If LeBron had been sitting on the bench during a Finals comeback, we'd never hear the end of it.
Context matters.
This UFC spectacle at the White House, dripping with corporate sponsors and pay-to-play billions is crass corruption. While families struggle to afford groceries, rent, and healthcare, we’re watching Trump play Gatsby on the People’s lawn.
This grift must end. We deserve better.
Steph Curry says 105 is the most threes he's ever made in a row
“I do a game after practice where you shoot five spots around the arc. You start in the corner. The first two are free. If you make them, great. If you miss them, it doesn't matter”
“But after the third one, you shoot until you miss in that spot. I try to get to 50 around all five spots. But this particular day, I got to 105 in the first spot. I think I ended up with 140 something in the drill”
“So I guess every day, in some way, I have an opportunity to chase it, but I haven't gotten close since. Maybe 60 since then”
“I'm thinking 50. That's my goal. If I don't get to 50 over five spots, then I got to start over and do it again. At 40, I'm like, ‘I just got to stay locked in’”
“I want to say it was like 10 minutes or so. It's like therapy. It's like meditation. But I got mad at 105. When you miss, your expectations change a little bit”
