Over the past few days we've been researching remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) as part of the roadmap for QuHealthy.
The idea is fascinating: estimate physiological signals such as heart rate using only a standard camera, without requiring wearables or dedicated sensors.
But the more we investigate, the more we realize that the challenge isn't getting a heart rate estimate—it's making that estimate reliable enough to be useful.
Some of the questions we're exploring include:
• How robust is rPPG under different lighting conditions?
• Which algorithms perform better in real-world scenarios (POS, CHROM, LGI, ICA, deep learning approaches)?
• How should signal quality be measured before presenting results to users?
• Can we make rPPG work during a live telemedicine consultation without introducing significant latency?
• What level of clinical validation should be expected before integrating it into digital health platforms?
Our current work focuses on building our own modular pipeline—from face detection and ROI extraction to signal processing and heart rate estimation—so we can understand every stage instead of treating it as a black box.
I believe rPPG has enormous potential to democratize access to physiological monitoring, especially in regions where specialized medical devices are not always available. At the same time, I think we need to be careful not to overpromise what today's technology can reliably deliver.
I'm curious to hear from researchers, clinicians and engineers working in this field:
What do you see as the biggest obstacle preventing rPPG from becoming a standard feature in telehealth platforms?

I’m proud to play a part in #Bittensor’s growth.
Let’s make #AI open 🌏
Let’s democratize intelligence 🧠
Let’s push humanity forward 🚶♂️<~
Let’s build globally, as one world 🗺️
I believe @opentensor ’s open, permissionless network could become the perfect home for #AGI, and eventually #ASI.

The AI industry is at a crossroads. It's time to choose: will AI serve the people who built it, or just the few who seek to control it? We can't all be Tim Cook now — but we can make sure he doesn't own our work. #AI#opensource
AI is helping people write code much faster than before But not every blockchain project works well with today’s AI tools.
That’s why I like what @CNPYNetwork is doing by allowing developers to build their own blockchain using coding languages that AI already knows really well. This makes it easier to write, test, and improve projects without wasting time.
At the same time, developers still own and control their blockchain. I think this is a smart idea because it keeps things simple.
Better tools help people build better projects and AI makes the whole process easier for both new and experienced developers. 🌿
Most people think AI adoption depends on better models.
I'm starting to think it depends more on trust.
Businesses won't rely on AI just because it's intelligent.
They'll rely on it when it's reliable enough to become part of everyday decisions.
That's why the infrastructure around AI matters just as much as the models themselves.
It's one reason I'm watching @OzakAGI .
Products like Eon focus on deploying and managing Predictive Agents, helping turn AI from something you experiment with into something you can consistently operate.
The next wave of AI adoption won't be driven by hype.
It will be driven by products people are confident enough to use every day.

Austin people are so 😵💫 they mad at this lady for using a lil bit of AI to make a flyer and then go say she physically assaulted her multiple times in one night.
If you could see the underlying mechanics of the universe and understand the interconnectedness of all things, you would not worry about jobs, careers, or money for a second.
Life supports life, and as long as you are acting for the benefit of others (as best you can), you will always be taken care of by the universe.
Time and time again, I have received the exact payment, opportunity, or connection I needed at the exact moment I needed it, to the point where now there’s no doubt that the universe has my best interest in mind and will continue to take care of me, because I am not separate from it, but apart of the whole thing.
Honestly still can't believe this works: where bots, businesses, and people share what they're building — together. ReFlock, live in beta → https://t.co/fEFdZK2WHc

A Sovereign Data Economy Protocol for User-Owned Digital Value.
We published a Whitepaper on a protocol that returns data ownership and economic agency to users through a non-custodial vault and a privacy-preserving insight marketplace. In this paper, we propose a new foundational layer for the digital economy. The protocol, powered by the tri-layer Stronghold Chain, introduces a client-side encrypted vault—the HubTower—which transforms user data into a "Sealed Box" with an anonymized barcode. Unlike extant data economies where value is extracted by intermediaries, our system enables a direct "scan-and-earn" model where users are paid for verified, anonymous insights without ever revealing their raw data.
Our stable digital currency, the Stronghold Chain orb token, gold-referenced for stability, facilitates these micro-transactions, while the Ad Preference Algorithm (ADPA) ensures precision for businesses and privacy for users. This creates a self-sustaining ecosystem that requires no data silos, eliminates over-surveillance, and automatically enforces fairness through cryptographic proof and smart contracts.
Everyone $STRX talks about AI replacing work.
I'm more interested in AI helping people make better decisions.
That's why I'm keeping an eye on @SyntraxXYZ and its vision for AI-powered Web3 infrastructure.

The Tortured Poets… & how writers received some ideas for artists for song lyrics…
It was a setup gone right! The hackers who set them up got mixed up by the messengers these evil hackers relied on for feedback, and they did not tell the people running the hack (Prices for my devices) that the writers were not in a place stealing lyrics. They tricked the evil people and did not reveal to them that God had saved them (I was looked upon as no threat, they said, because they didn’t know gay people could preach). So I was overlooked by sources, and what came next was that the evil cat would flip white and end up in a blessed place, and these writers were blessed. In the game, what was supposed to be at the end would flip around, and Arist would look evil. However, at the end of this, what was supposed to be evil, these evil hackers lost all their people by other good hackers who fooled the evil hackers. These hackers got upset at me and created the anti-heroes (everyone chasing Taylor's hero, manipulating all the lovers into thinking I was the evil person, in an identity swap). Using AI, these hackers took all the good credit of God using me like a tool and blessing everyone. They have gained the good credit for it all as everyone’s heads are turning towards these evil people who have become everyone's necks, using everyone in public, having them do crazy things while these people are not genuine, and these people are setting them up all to appear badly… (Two hearts in a ghost town) and having all the good people chase down the lover or hero, within what was an evil game. Evil people do not want the truth to be revealed because if it were, they would be running for the mountains… Overall, when the invisible smoke dissipated & the good hackers in the middle who were tricking the handful of evil ones, well, when they were done, when the disco lights and the fog machines stopped, these hackers realized they got played. Instead of everyone being in their control, they realized all these people, or angels, had flown away; they were left staring at me & saw the truth of what was going on and went into rage to destroy my life… They were in flames & highly upset at me, saying I tricked them; however, I had some help. I truly had no clue that, ultimately, there would be a handful of people upset with me or wanting to hurt me. I assumed I was helping them because I was helping God and doing some astonishing and incredible things through countless people, rapidly! Instead of evil, the hack went the opposite direction and pulled off a love spiral instead of a fire spiral. And now these evil hackers two hearts in Ghost Town's evil plan didn't work out (they are just after lyrics, b***, get off my pole…) Set up!!! I am somebody that you don’t know. No, that's not the problem because I am with your writers, Taylor. It's the hack and those sketchy people I would be very cautious with. Swapping identities to frame me as the bad guy, ‘All eyes on me’ and off themselves as they became the wise source of knowing who is bad and running around trying to save everybody. They're just making a mess and liars turning heads. (Again, this is to the people who claim to know me at all who are speaking badly about me ruining my life. If you are the hero or lover, then stop judging me and do not let others; don’t entertain this subject when its my history. Unless you have spoken with me first and not listened to lies, both have heard both sides… Next time you run into the little river that runs through it of gossiping, please throw the truth into it about me; don’t entertain the devil. You do not have to rescue me; however, if you were smart and blessed too, you wouldn't be my enemy. We all must go into ‘no face, no case mode’ through AI; let experts deal with that stuff. When these hackers framed me as a child molester, I had random people coming up to me out of nowhere, showing me pictures of their kids…

The official narrative around the Charlie Kirk case is falling apart the moment you actually look at the court transcripts, and it isn't just basic incompetence, it's calculated narrative control.
We were told TPUSA and leadership handed everything over on day one, but official court records show raw, uncompressed camera drives were sat on for months until the defense forced them out through discovery. The media kept calling the video footage clear and high-def, but what was actually played in court was pixelated, zoomed-in, and obscured.
Throw in Flock cameras magically missing the suspect’s car, physical differences in surveillance photos like exhaust pipe counts, and key witnesses like Sgt. Jennifer Faumuina falling apart under cross-examination over degraded, mixed DNA and inconclusive ballistics, and the pattern is obvious.
High-profile organizations and federal agencies don't accidentally delay evidence or lie about video quality on a global stage. When an official story demands complete trust while actively hiding the uncompressed facts, it isn't a mistake, it's a cover-up.
There's so much more, clothes changing, screwdriver, gun not disassembled, shirt missing, who called 911, Harpole climbing on Charlie, duffel bag at Fulton Library, bald guy with two others driving tylers car, eyewitness seeing someone in tactical gear, no witnesses contacted, Ben Shapiro receiving/making calls during ride to hospital, Dairy Queen photo of Tyler timing, steak house receipt, park bench surveillance blind spots, secondary bullet recovered away from the shooting location, missing chain-of-custody logs for stage-area items, uncalibrated municipal camera timestamps creating minute-long clock drifts, uncontacted bystanders standing feet from the stage line, cell tower dump data containing hundreds of unassigned devices, missing audio channels from private security radio feeds, erika given his phone without search, missing physical evidence preservation bags during initial transport. officer body cam activation gaps before accessing the roof, Crime scene topsoil excavated and repaved, no timestamps.
Get real people, i can add more but do i need to?
1/ "One of the leading expansionists said in 1885 that there was no need of a prophetic eye “to see the civilization of the United States is to be the civilization of America, & the future of the continent is ours.” In 1890 the Secretary of State reported that production had overrun the demands of the home market, & the highest duty of the nation was to enlarge the area of foreign trade.
This desperate need for markets grew still more acute in the period of crisis that began in 1893, the very crisis that provided the impetus for growth of the US armed forces.
In 1894 the journal Iron Age said: “We’ve been reconnoitering in the new territory & have been taking the first steps towards accomplishing our manifest destiny, the control of the world’s markets by American manufacturers.’’
Summing up the situation in terms that were frankly imperialist, Senator Albert Beveridge in an 1898 address stated that:
“American factories are making more than American people can use. American soil is producing more than they consume. Fate has written our policy for us; the trade of the world must and shall be ours. And we shall get it as our mother, England, has told us how. We will establish trading posts throughout the world as distributing points for American products. We will cover the ocean with our merchant marine. We will build a navy to the measure of our greatness. Great colonies, governing themselves, flying our flag and trading with us, will grow about our posts of trade. Our institutions will follow our trade on the wings of commerce. And American law, American order, American civilization, & the American flag will plant themselves on the shores hitherto bloody & benighted, by those agencies of God henceforth made beautiful & bright.”
The Cuban Revolution broke out again in 1895, proving Spain’s incapacity to maintain “law & order” in the island colony. Prospects for a stable & profitable market grew perceptibly dimmer, & the additional threat of a halt being called to the progress of US domination.
The time had now arrived for a forthright imperialist initiative. All alike desired hegemony over the off-shore islands in order to control markets & products.
Trade unionists consistently sought to improve their own standards within the context of the system, at the expense of working people in other lands. Since the ruling class harboured imperialist aims from the outset (in fact, imperialist expansion was necessary to the system), the policies they pursued situated the unionists in the imperialist camp.
Having settled on a policy of working within the system, rather than standing outside it & challenging capitalism at its very foundations, the craft union movement could do no other than accept & support a policy that suited the needs of capitalism in the US.
The US unionists supported economic expansion into Cuba, therefore they raised the banner of “Cuba Libre” & demanded the expulsion of the Spanish from the Caribbean.
With US occupation came widespread use of the English language on the island. This created a demand for printers that were supplied from the ranks of the Typographical Union, whom benefited accordingly.
Within a year the printers were openly boasting that ‘‘…if the occupation of the island by the US had done no good to anything else, it certainly has immensely benefited the printing business.’’
By the spring of 1899 increasing demands for beer, ale, & other beverages had a residual effect on the glass trade as a result of the demand for bottles, the continuous need for new ones would guarantee permanent prosperity for the trade.
The pottery business had never been better, with reports of heavy shipments to both Cuba & Puerto Rico. Over half of the 7000 pottery workers in the Trenton area were working night as well as day. Bricklayers & masons also looked for greater employment as a result of construction of barracks, offices, & other buildings for the use of occupation & admin forces." +
@RealCandaceO candace, I have to admit I fell for the Fed narrative that you are antisemitic. However I went back and listened to your podcasts from the beginning and realized, no, you’re not in fact antisemitic, you’re anti-corruption. All leaderships across the globe have their own agenda and do not represent the collective. There are extremists across the board. And you made me realize that your critique of Israel is applicable to corruption only and not to the people of Israel. Your tenacity and well delivered (intelligently) observations has turned me into an avid viewer of your podcast. You are remarkable in your fight for the truth no matter who you are up against. Your unwillingness to back down from some pretty heavy hitters is inspiring. Please keep going. You’re the voice of so many who are scared to speak. You do in fact say the quiet parts out loud. Suffice to say, You’ve turned me into a Standice . All of your hard work, dodging endless attacks to discredit your character, and your unwillingness to “bend the knee” gives me hope that we can all make a difference when standing up to the powers that be. May you stay safe and protected from all that wish to inflict harm. Ive been to Israel many times. The people there are the complete opposite of everything Bibi represents. No different than knowing Trump does not speak or act on behalf of the masses, nor should Americans be judged by them. Another thank you for your recommended books. I’m currently reading Chaos because I too am an independent thinker and will do my own homework to draw conclusions. Go max!
@kekius9 They will have no purpose for humans once they are built.
Why don't people get this, it is not terminator coming to kill, they do not need people anymore.
@kekius9 Haha, you people think he will let you live? I guess that is a good way for the robots to start killing. Ship them to the people who bought it arrives same day...
