4th/5th gr @HallFletcherAVL entered an SEL design challenge. Ss worked in teams to create tools to use for regulating emotions, calming down when upset. They created marble mazes, textured sensory tools with 3D printer to add to class calm down corners. Creative! #SELday #SEL4NC

Yes! Our school garden at APS was a wonderful part of preparing our students to be contributing, healthy community members.Teaches executive planning, patience, collaboration, working with soil ignites some good chemicals in the brain that create calming effect. #grow 🍃🌱🌿
