@GreenfieldsEdu Hi We've been unable to order Wind in the Willows ISBN 9781405237307 from our book supplier it looks like it's gone out of print. Do you have an alternative that we can order? I don't just want to order any copy as I know that the planning refers to specific pages

It was our first Art lesson this afternoon!
We used a range of sketching techniques inspired by the illustrator Chris Riddell and different materials to create images of fruit and vegetables.

Thank you Year 6 for a lovely last day. I am so grateful for all of the lovely gifts and cards and have loved teaching you (and sharing you with Mrs Smith and Mrs Homer too!) for the last couple of years! Now time to relax and wait for this baby to arrive! Enjoy the summer ❤️

Our Leavers’ festival is in full swing on the field. We are happy and hot!! Chippy arriving in half an hour 👍😝

It is going to be very hot tomorrow!! Year 6 will be enjoying their leavers’ event on the field after school, so please ensure that they bring sun cream, water bottles, caps etc! Just a reminder that Year 6 can wear their own clothes to school tomorrow. 👍

Just a reminder that we are holding our school Sports Day tomorrow. Please send your child to school in their PE kit and ensure that they bring a water bottle (water only). We are looking forward to a morning down on the field in the sunshine 😊

To finish off our Geography unit, we made our own volcanic eruption to help us to understand how lava can flow, based on it’s viscosity. We then independently researched the four main types of volcano and presented our findings as posters and leaflets. So much fun!! 👍

In Geography this week, Year 6 have enjoyed finding out how tectonic plates move beneath Earth’s crust and how this movement can cause an earthquake or volcanic eruption. We have also been researching the devastating effects of an earthquake.
