Trying to problem solve without basic fact fluency is like trying to read without being able to decode.

Maths fact fluency needs the attention phonics has been getting.

Restorative justice doesn't belong in schools. With limited time, funds & resources, effective implementation is challenging. Schools need discipline systems that include safety, accountability, & rehabilitation without straining resources.
