1. ) Someone wants something.
2.) They're having trouble getting it.
3.) Something will happen if they fail.

If you can't identify all 3 in your narrative throughline, your sequence, and your scene, you likely screwed up.

Wow, the 2000s were very nostalgic for the ‘70s with so many tv and movie remakes.
Interestingly, in the ‘70s they had a ‘50s nostalgia trip.
Every generation deploys reverse mirrors of the past…usually a 20-25 year span for the perfect reminiscing.
