@BBCRadio3@MannGeorgia great to hear this Rossini motet on the radio! My choir uses it for audition sightreading - in 10 years only one person has already known it!
@wjbdawes Weird weird. I just checked this because I remembered Easter Sunday being 1st April (April Fools Day!) the year AW was also VD (plus I'd have remembered the clock change...). Thought was going mad - how can it possibly be a different Easter Sunday date? Answer - leap year!
@wjbdawes Ash Weds and Valentines Day coincided only a few years back - heard a good sermon on it - which suggests it must be pre-covid, so 2018 or 2019 pehaps? - and I recall it being remarked on as a once-in-a-generation event. How weird it's come round again so soon.
@annalapwood@thetimes Sorry to hear about this. Disappointed in the paper I subscribe to and generally respect. Lots of support in the comments, I see (as well as here). Keep doing what you do and being a class act.
Catch this angelic moment tonight on @BBCInTune at 5.30pm ๐
Preparation for our Late Night Prom this Thursday eve! https://t.co/VqU3uLB0rP

@SamEvansLondon @RoyalAlbertHall@bbcproms@BBCRadio3 This is the main thing that's struck me on the few occasions I've performed in a Prom - it's a feat.
There aren't many concerts that I immediately want to relive, even ones I really enjoyed. But I just wish I could go and experience the @VOCES8 Prom all over again tonight. (at least there's @BBCSounds!) @bbcproms
Fantastic evening at @pizzajazzclub watching old pal @jakemcmurchie play with the superb @JazzDefenders. Really blown away by the quality. Guest-starred Ben Bailey Smith who I got to say hello to!
Booking train tickets on @EastMidRailway app/site is a pure joy, effortless. That's how you do ticket booking UX. (Get the app, you won't regret it - you can book tickets UK-wide).
Are you allowed to clap between movements at the @BBCProms?
Of course it depends on the context, but spoiler alert - YES, says Radio 3's Tom Service.

@hillyfdsparkrun Thanks all! It was my last Hilly Fields #parkrun for the foreseeable - still my favourite event despite not being so local anymore - icing on the cake was an event PB - 23:01! Thanks again โค๏ธ
@GAILsBakery so in upgrading your loyalty card (to digital) you've made it *worse* for customers - 1 stamp per transaction instead of per coffee. Took a while for us to clock. Can you explain because this looks really poor, at a time when we're all getting less for more.
@BBC6Music@BBCRadio3 I love 6Music and work with it in the background most days but I don't need to hear essentially the same news bulletin about 8 times. I switch it off when I think of it, but invariably forget to switch it on again...
I've asked before but I'll ask again (as no one replied!) - does anyone know why @BBC6Music has so many news bulletins during the day (more than hourly) where @BBCRadio3 has almost none? Why are 6 listeners deemed to be more interested in (or requiring of) news than 3 listeners?
@E_N_O and others why persist in misleading headline ticket prices? If ยฃ5.25 is to be added *per ticket* at checkout, then from a consumer point of view, THAT is the ticket price. Show it upfront.
