@InDeepGeek I think it would be great, like for an opening scene, but I would want Tom Bombadil saying to Bilbo, "No, no, no, you've got it all wrong. The nine for men and seven for dwarves were made before the three or the one. Come now, let's start over and I'll tell it right this time."
@JRRTLore After 27 years of marriage, I'm proud to say, that is how mine and my wife's arguments sound. Neither one of us will be talking about the same thing, but we will hold our position with passion.
@JRRTLore@writriverdale For example, a pharma corp makes a product but does not test it, the FDA approves it, the CDC recommends it, when a journalist writes negatively the former head of the FDA, now working for the pharma corp, emails this tech company and gets journalist banned. Fascism? Corruption✔️
(1/2) I really wanted #RingsofPower to feel even more grand than #HouseOfTheDragon but it felt small at every turn. From speeches in the public square, to the sparse amount of people in the Southlands. An armada of three ships. I loved the practical effects of the orcs, but...
@OpheliaFallen@SupirosuSan I completely understand that, but the Hobbit used a total of 12 stuntman for all of the armies in The Battle of Five Armies.
@EcthelionsHouse I will admit that comparing those two scenes may be a bad comparison, but with the establishing shots of Numenor being so massive, we should have had at least one scene showing massive crowds, like maybe calling on an Army. Even that seemed tiny. Khazad-dum felt Epic though.
