Tennessee❤️
When people told us at the beginning of our road trip that people in the South are different, we didn’t really know what they meant. But after spending several weeks here, we finally understand.
The hospitality here is just something else. Everyone knows everyone, and it feels like people are living one big shared life. Someone is always stopping by, doors are always open, and everyone is welcome.
One guy told us he hasn’t locked his house in 23 years. When we were out on the lake, we met some people who immediately invited us to their lake house to hang out. They offered us drinks, chicken wings, and made us feel completely at home. It’s a kind of hospitality I’ve never experienced before.
When we got back to the dock late that night, one of the guys on the boat said something that really stuck with me:
“You don’t have to live in some big, exciting city. What matters is the people who live there. That’s what makes you happy. I’ve lived in many places around the world, but nothing comes close to Ocoee, Tennessee. And you know the best part about living here? We’re going to do the exact same thing again tomorrow.”
We will be back.
@RabidMongoose@Michaelfiore@STmorakinyo Not to mention y’all are forgetting Nashville, which regularly handles tourists in the city every weekend & the football stadium is downtown.
“This is such an insult to America”
America was built by genuine lunatics who risked death to cross oceans and chart frontiers.
Americans went to the moon with 1960s technology and aluminum foil.
Yes, the ethos of this country is inherently kind of insane, crazy, and ridiculous.
Like that Japanese guy said, Americans are stupid and genius at the same time.
That’s what makes America great.
Dirt bikes doing jumps in front of the White House is a way more authentic expression of the American spirit than anything leftists have ever done.
You can literally hear Free Bird playing in your head watching this video.
People who hate America sneer at it because they hate what it represents.
This is the unhinged, ridiculous, insane, delusional, unconquerable American spirit that they want to conquer but can’t.
NEW: Clemson's Dabo Swinney weighs in with @ClowFB on the chaos surrounding college football:
"The only thing worse than having no rules is having rules you can’t enforce or don’t enforce.
I don’t think any of us thought we’d be in a world where there’s no order. It’s a much bigger conversation now. Even in the NFL, there are rules. You can’t sign with the Browns and go practice for two weeks and the Dolphins call you up and say, ‘Hey man, what are they paying you? Hey, we’ll pay you a million more. Come on down here to the Dolphins.’ And then you go in there and say, ‘Hey boys, I’m out.’"

We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
Q: "Why didn't you tell U.S. allies…about the war before attacking Iran?"
President Trump: "We wanted surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor?"
A post regarding the two individuals arrested for throwing homemade bombs outside of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s home failed to reflect the gravity of the incident thereby breaching the editorial standards we require for all our reporting. It has therefore been deleted.
Iranian here!
I want to thank American leftists for educating me these past few days & correcting my understanding of Iran & radical Islam
I almost trusted my own experience, my parents’ trauma, and what my family in Iran endures daily instead of your wisdom. What would I have done without your tweets & tiktoks ❤️
