I have just built my first project using start and only used query from the tanstack ecosystem before. I don’t know even know where to start in terms of feedback. the docs just feel very hard to navigate and convoluted. I think you should begin with comparing your docs with other good docs (eg nextjs, better-auth, orpc) to see the differences (structure and content, not design).
We did it! 🥳
✅ 1st milestone: $1000 in sales
There's still a long way to go. 22 tasks in my backlog that need shipping. Biggest challenge yet to come: Marketing/SEO 😵💫
👉 Next milestone: $5000

📈 December is starting crazy!
I’m on vacation in Japan, and during some idle time I promoted my boring desktop app in a few relevant Reddit posts by commenting and chatting with potential customers.
Just a few days into the month, I’ve already made 15 sales. +400% compared to last month in the same duration.
One user even bought a license after testing my app just for a few minutes, despite the free 14-day trial 🤯
Reddit is still such a powerful channel for promoting your app. Google frequently shows Reddit posts at the top of search results, which brings completely organic discovery. And with AI pulling context from sources like Reddit, your app ends up getting suggested well beyond Reddit and Google.
You’re basically getting all that exposure for free. Use it.
