@RossLeBrun We have a girl that works part time for us who started 6th form this week. I asked her opinion - she said it’s a minority whingeing about nothing and they need to “grow up”.
(Note I have no opinion on this personally - just relaying that this may not be the majority view)

@BBCGuernsey When we moved over - my wife is a nurse - the subsidy was over five years and was limited to I think £360 a month max. Much more sensible. Current setup encourages people to live “free” and leave after 2 years

@gavinstpier @JEPnews If we want to seem less dependent then as well as not using CDs as a designation there’s lots of signalling that can be done. But most of it is inconvenient. Scrapping the UK postcodes and phone numbers for example. States sounds LESS UK than “HM Govt of Guernsey” so should stay
