@Chrised90751298 Great concert, but didn’t have an encounter with Bowie, band rushed by us into an elevator lift. OMNI Arena, was great. Why do they have to tear down all the great venues. Madison Square Garden in NYC is scheduled for demo in 2 years. Gee’s.
@Chrised90751298 Chris the lighting rig full of white fluorescent light bulbs, with very little other stage lighting was interesting. Bowie never did any thing twice. Sadly, LOW with Eno did not Tour in US. Until Hero’s, which I missed. David gone to early, too much coke etc in his early days. 🌍
@Chrised90751298 Chris, no doubt, Bowie played most of STS LP, TVC15, Word on a Wing and the title track some of my favorites, A friend worked at the Omni Hotel, he took us through the lower back halls to the arena, who did we run into Bowie’s Band. I assume David was staying at Ritz Carlton.
@tonylevin Fantastic Concert, Tony you were not able to play the Atlanta date, ☹️ But I have the live CD & DVD where you were present, Mt. View California, Bravo Tony.
@Chrised90751298 @Focustheband Gee’s Chris, you keep reminding me of so many fantastic bands of the 70’s. Thank You. Did you ever hear of a 80’s German Opera singer who went Glam Rock Opera, Klaus Nomi. Not sure I spelled his name correct, I have the Best of CD, Total Eclipse of the Sun.
@J_Ab75@LindseyGrahamSC I am a SC native, there was a time when I thought You Senator Graham represented your State well. But you have shown your true self. I am disappointed in you, GOD help you, you will never be Elected again. You have a dark soul, you are not welcome in the Palmetto State.
@Morning_Joe@IgnatiusPost Trump will end it himself, he has dug a hole so close to magma, the heat will make him poof, fade into his own ashes. Americans have a very short memory of History. Joe, I think his Empire is doomed, along with him. Time does heal. One can only hope.
@2xsRocks @yesofficial Steve Howe is and was so far ahead of any guitar player, writer, & live performer. You only need to Listen to YES Fragile & Close to the Edge, both released in 1972. No one on this planet could have composed this music at that time but YES . He does not take short cuts, perfect.
@MossorRich@HER0SRETURN Hey Rich,
I am 2 months new to Twitter, Chris Edwards is a treasure for music lovers mostly 70’s 80’s. Good luck, stay out of politics, NASA is quite interesting, you will find your way. 🌍🇺🇸✌️
@destroyurego@PeteButtigieg@SecretaryPete@Chasten Secretary PETE, I hope you continue to feel well, I am sure that being in quarantine for 2 weeks, will be productive, but not being able to be with your husband & staff will be difficult. Stay calm & well. 🙏🌍🇺🇸🚆
@PaulStanleyLive Thank You for posting this, such a beautiful moment in time, I sure wish there was more recording of this moment, What a beautiful man, that smile, giving advise to son-in-law. His laugh must be remembered. 🙏🙏😇
@Chrised90751298 OMG, Bridge over troubled Water, I first heard on AM radio here in the States. Many musicians have covered this song over the years but no one can sing that song like Art Garfunkel. It’s Brill. I still listen to it along with Morning Has Broken. Settles my Soul.
@Chrised90751298 I have read several books on YES. I have read this one about five times. Chris Welch does an excellent job taking you on a YES ride up to “ Open Your Eyes”. It took me at least 3 reads to catch all the History & Timeline’s. 🌀✌️
@yesofficial For me the best Rabin era YES LP. The song, “ I’m Running “ is really great, as is Big Generator & Holy Lamb. I only caught one Show, it was modern, moving and hearing most of the songs live, give you appreciation & perspective. It was a Big evening.
@U2 No I do not remember when I heard this song, however I remember when I bought the LP. I have visited Joshua Tree about 20 times as I lived only 30 minutes away, the Tree’s in bloom are beautiful, & listening to U2 is magical. Never visit the Park in Summer.
