@NeoDoc11 As regards written evidence, David Davis has provided this timeline. Remember the Chief Constable had stated that they had no arrangement with Jane Hutton. David Davis said this was 'patently untrue'.
"The use of statistics by police investigating Lucy Letby has been further called into question," the Sunday Telegraph reports.
"The CPS has now said that it did not instruct police to terminate its agreement with Prof Hutton," the Warwick University statistician Cheshire police had originally engaged with, and who warned the investigation about the shortcomings of their methods.
The Crown Prosecution Service's denial, reported today by the Telegraph, contradicts what Cheshire police officer Adam Bolger wrote to Prof Hutton in 2021, about why the force were ceasing their ongoing communications with her as an expert statistician.
"We have had a further meeting this afternoon where we have informed the prosecutors that we were looking at the validity of statistical evidence again in the case," Bolger emailed Hutton.
"The prosecutor does not agree with our line of enquiry and has instructed us not to pursue this avenue, any further, at present."
"I'm really sorry if you feel I have wasted your time," Bolger wrote.
By then, he had been communicating with Prof Hutton about statistics and the Letby case for over three years.
@RichardHor54460 Interesting video from Jeff Banks. Very well put together and a good summary of the case.
Jeff has 45,000 Facebook followers.
Didn’t know he was born in Ebbw Vale, Wales, and was married to Sandie Shaw!
Also a big Reform Party supporter, which may be useful if they get more MPs
@TobeHon29809726@Emilyjbronte@Channel4News I have a strong suspicion that the ones responsible for framing Letby are now realising they could be looking at serious charges.
Also suspect that some of the Letby Witchhunter Cults on here are likely proxy accounts for them hence the recent hysteria among them.
Another excellent article from @suehaltertweet on the Lucy Letby case. She looks at the people who dared to say "what if we got this wrong?" https://t.co/TnSf3Vlnma
@cjsnowdon@BrettKnoss Himdmarsh handed in his notice so the GMC investigation halted and everything was hidden away.
Great Ormond Street were unable to present the issues about his performance
@cjsnowdon@BrettKnoss interesting request for “evidence”.
Normally just a “gut feeling” is enough for your lot to convict somebody for multiple life sentences.
Evidence from Hindmarsh’s own comments in the trial that he knew he shouldn’t be there.
@markjurgenmayes on Lucy Letby: 'power' letting us know (that they know)... https://t.co/g23FCv73Qj “An extraordinary day, it’s tipped over. Signing to us they’re going to move on it now to use political will to expedite… it’s just too obvious. It’s happening behind the scenes.”
Cover up is standard under a Labour government. They cannot and will not tolerate criticism of the NHS. We saw how one of their own MPs was treated when she spoke of the appalling treatment her beloved late husband had received.
@ClarkeMicah in today’s @DailyMailUK
@ABridgen Very well said, and echoing the words of @drphilhammond that this will set NHS back for decades in terms of patient safety, because of staff being fearful of witch-hunts
Lucy Letby’s conviction is unsafe, but she is still in prison and as intended that sends a very strong message to everyone.
Please watch and share https://t.co/6X3RWOMMWE
There is so much vitriol directed not just at Lucy Letby, but at anyone who doubts her guilt. Clare and Carl were incredibly brave to come forward with their story. I hope you'll listen.

Nurse Lucy Letby remains in prison serving a life sentence for crimes she didn’t commit because her imprisonment sends a very strong message to all NHS staff who might ever consider whistleblowing. It also the demonstrates political control over the judiciary in the UK.
@rorysutherland Thank you Rory for publicising this book. Been following @CPMorris1234 who has made skilled forensic analysis of the Letby MoJ. My interest piqued having worked in a dysfunctional NHS with main prosecution expert. The more I learn, the more disturbing it gets. 100% Lucy innocent
