The assessment involved visiting the BRT system in Gyeonggi Province and attending live workshops and seminars.
Key takeaways were on the ITS systems such as the integrated fare collection systems, collaboration with the relevant organizations, and proper and inclusive land use.
Through the BRT Line 5 Project, Timcon staff and other consultants together with staff from KURA and Namata went to Korea for the BRT benchmarking scheme organized by the international consultants on the project: Kuhnwa, Yooshin, Tracom, and Dohwa

The feedback was presented to KENHA/Kenyan Govt and TRL(Transport Research Laboratory) on the draft design manuals at the 2nd Stakeholders Workshop held at Bomas of Kenya from 15th to 18th August.

@AfumieGber1 Thank you for your concern on enumerator rates. This rate varies depending on the project and the location. We however ensure all enumerators are well compensated during each traffic data collection exercise.
In preparation for the Traffic Data Collection along the KeNHA Road Network - Lot 1 (The eastern half of the country), TIMCON undertook a traffic reconnaissance on the roads for feasibility and preliminary checks.
