@SquawkCNBC @LesliePicker I just heard someone from Congress on Squawk Box say we should be using more ethanol to bring down gas prices. Don’t they know that to make ethanol it takes farmland we need to produce food , especially in the wake of what’s happening Ukraine?

Their leaders can’t get things done because they have set up department procedures designed to cover their ass. So they either don’t get anything accomplished or it cost way more than it should.

@CNBC It was the farmers lobby who made it mandatory for “big oil” to blend ethanol into gasoline. Maybe they cancel that mandate. 30% of corn production is made into ethanol. On top of it , farming corn the way we do destroys top soil. Watch “Kiss the Ground “
