Gwynn Shotwell is COO of SpaceX, not chief engineer or CEO. She has said herself she doesn’t get involved in engineering design meetings, as Elon does those.

I don’t know what argument you’re trying to make though. You seem to be critical of him, his actions or inactions, his involvement in his 5 successful multibillion / trillion $ companies. I guess he can do no right in your eyes? Never mind. I don’t think anyone cares about your opinion.

Speaking for myself, I abhor the idea of fame. But for those who become famous, there are countless examples where the media will disparage, slur, and attempt their downfall… sometimes with success. Why? Jealousy? Clicks? I say celebrate others successes… good on them for achieving their goals.

Though in Elon’s case, his drive isn’t fame, or fortune (despite what we’re told in media). It’s the success of humanity. Watch his interviews, read his biography, and that is clear.

The problem is, Nick, that on those three contentious topics alone, which as you highlighted face particular scrutiny right now, the beeb has been found to be inept / error-prone / biased (take your pick).

How many mistakes must be made before it’s seen as less incompetence, more a fundamental corruption?

Or must we keep forgiving the organisation of its ineptitude forever?
