@EdnapKeegan Honestly, there are SO many things you can do with your life... but having to "be a man" or "act ladylike" makes it difficult for some people to embrace their uniqueness.

#TheGildedCage is the perfect symbol of how I lived my life. Always wanting to fly free like the bird outside, but never able. Even after moving into my new house, I couldn't get what I wanted in life and I felt trapped. I'm sorry for my children, but I've done what I had to do.

Why is it that the people that I want to be around (Robert, for example) keep trying to create distance between us, but the people that I don't want to be around (Léonce) or shouldn't want to be around (Arobin) can't just leave me alone? 😭

In my struggle to find myself, I guess I never thought about the social expectations that men have to live up to as well. If I want to be an artist, I should be able to be an artist; but if a man wants to write, he should write without society interfering. #BeingAMan

I feel so amazing right now! You know how I've always love the ocean? Well, I learned how to swim! I feel like a new person. I plan to work up the courage to swim even farther! I even had the courage to stand up to Leonce. Then I went on a boat with Robert and he cooked for me!😍
