Providing support to vulnerable adults nationwide to Empower and Enrich individuals with complex needs to live fulfilling lives within their communities.
This Pride Month, it is a time to celebrate the strength, resilience, and contributions of LGBTQ+ communities around the world. We all should look to reflect on the progress that has been made, to acknowledge the work that still lies ahead and reaffirm our commitment to creating environments where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves. Diversity enriches our communities, workplaces, and society as a whole. Inclusion always remains essential to meaningful progress, however this month is a great time to reflect on how we can be better in this regard. Together, we stand for equality, dignity, and opportunity for all, today and every day. Happy Pride Month. 🌈
Wear green. Start conversations. Show support. 💚
On Thursday, our team will proudly wear green for Wear It Green Day 2026 to stand together in support of mental health awareness and wellbeing.
At Time4U, we believe that every individual deserves to feel heard, valued, supported, and empowered every single day.
By raising awareness and encouraging open conversations, we can help break the stigma around mental health and create a more inclusive, compassionate community for the people we support, their families, and our staff.
Together, we’re making mental health matter. 💚
May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚
Please treat this as a reminder that everyone you meet is carrying something you can’t see.
Not all struggles are loud. Not all pain looks the same.
Let’s choose awareness over assumptions, kindness over judgment, and patience over quick opinions.
A small moment of understanding can mean everything to someone who’s silently struggling, be open and available for people to talk, listen and love.
Be gentle with others and with yourself, for you never truly know what's under the surface.
MYTH vs FACT: Substance Use
Myth: You can always tell if someone is using drugs.
Fact: Many people struggling may appear “fine”.
Changes in behaviour can have many causes - stress, mental health, or life circumstances
At Time4U Group we prioritise Drug & Alcohol Awareness training because education reduces stigma. Start with a conversation, not judgement.
Autism doesn’t look one way - because it isn’t one defined ‘thing’.
Autism is a spectrum, not a single experience.
Some people need 24/7 support.
Some live independently.
Some communicate verbally, some don’t.
Some need structure to feel safe; others need flexibility to thrive.
What they all have in common isn’t a diagnosis - it’s individuality.
Everyone deserves understanding, dignity, and support that adapts to them, not expectations that force them to adapt to the system.
Real inclusion starts with recognising difference and responding to it properly, not dismissing it and damaging not only your perception, but their feelings.
Did you know?
Anxiety doesn’t always look like worry.
For many people, it can present as anger, withdrawal, avoidance, or behaviour often described as “challenging”.
When we focus only on the behaviour, we miss the message.
When we understand the cause, support becomes more effective, compassionate, and person-centred.
Anxiety is often a response to unmet needs, not a problem to be managed, but a signal to be understood.
Let’s change the question from “How do we stop this?” to “What support is needed here?”

Care doesn’t stop… but neither should rest.
Working in care means giving your time, energy, and heart every single day, no matter how you're feeling. That’s why taking annual leave isn’t selfish at all, it’s essential.
Rest helps prevent burnout, keeps you focused in everything not juts work, and ultimately allows us to deliver safer, higher-quality care. Yet many care professionals feel guilty stepping away.
This is your reminder: looking after yourself is part of looking after others.
If you haven’t planned your annual leave yet, now is a great time to start.
Words matter.
People aren’t “service users” first, they’re ALWAYS people first.
Person-centred language reflects person-centred care.

Investing in Training to Deliver High-Quality Supported Living
Delivering safe, effective, and person-centred supported living services starts with a well-trained workforce.
As part of our ongoing commitment to quality and continuous improvement, our team are regularly completing training in Positive Behaviour Support, CPI and Specialist Subjects such as Drug, Alcohol, EUPD and Mental Health Awareness. This training strengthens professional practice, supports compliance, and ensures our staff are equipped to respond confidently to the diverse needs of the people we support.
High-quality training enables:
• Consistent, person-centred support
• Safer, well-managed services
• Positive outcomes and independence for individuals
We are proud to invest in our people and maintain high standards across all areas of our service.
Usually, a lot of people look at care as a last resort for a role, due to the public perception of the role. Some comments could be –
‘Oh, you do care work? That couldn’t be me…’
‘When are you going to look for a proper job?’
‘You’re just there to collect a cheque, you don’t care about those people surely?’
WRONG! We pride ourselves in assuring the best level of support across Personal Care and Non-Personal Care clients, and those above rhetoric we are looking to stamp out and eliminate! Care Work is for anyone, we all have a place in this world, and we all have a job to help one another in any way possible, so why can’t Care Work be a career?
Celebrating the voices, talents, and achievements of people with disabilities today and every day here at Time4U. We are extremely grateful for our incredible community and the privilege of supporting those with complex care needs. Together, we create a more inclusive world. #DisabilityInclusion

Black History Month Success Story: Meet our Group CEO – Tawanda Mudavanhu
Tawanda opened Time4U in 2011 and started with a tight knit operation in Chatham and Medway. He started by opening supported living accommodation for people who struggle with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health problems.
The company has seen many a change over the past 14 years, however one thing has remained the same, Tawanda and his desire to build communities here in Medway. We have utilised support workers from around the globe, housed people from Canada all the way to Afghanistan, yet our commitment to the local communities we have built remains the same.
This year, we have been recognised by the Independent as one of the Top 100 E2E Job Creators in the UK, highlighting the growth stemming from the early work that Tawanda and the team undertook to assure we could be here now, supporting over 135 people from the South Coast all the way to the Midlands. Anyone, from any creed, colour or age can make a difference, so chase your wants and dreams today.

This Black History Month, we are proud to be in partnership again with Abalon Trust, a wonderful service that is encouraging Black men and women over 25 across Kent to get themselves screened for diabetes, hypertension and BMI checks.
They support our staff by providing these services, and also we are working with them to deliver 5/6 sessions of focused diabetes training to help specialize the level of knowledge for our staff. This will then allow for better care for the people we support, and peace of mind for our staff who have also had the free checks.
We encourage anyone eligible to take up this wonderful opportunity, and special thank you to Adam Mapani and the team for supporting us, and everyone in the company.
October marks Black History Month in the UK. This is a time to celebrate, reflect, and recognise the remarkable contributions of Black people to British society.
First celebrated here in 1987, UK Black History Month was founded by Akyaaba Addai-Sebo, a Ghanaian-born activist and project coordinator for the Greater London Council. His vision was to highlight the rich cultural heritage of Black Britons and to inspire future generations through pride and awareness.
Today, this month serves as both a celebration and a call to remind us that progress is built based on inclusion, representation, and understanding each other.
At Time4UGroup, we’re proud to honour the legacy of Black history and to continue building a workplace where diversity and equity thrive year-round.
