@felixrieseberg "Civilization advances by extending the number of important operations which we can perform without thinking about them." โ Alfred North Whitehead (An Introduction to Mathematics, 1911)

Now, not knowing that:

I'd wonder about his general work ethic, how in touch with his internal vs external motivation, how much he likes plan vs build, and if he likes to lead projects or just do his own thing. Those split folks many different ways.
He's young enough that the best thing right now might not be direct career advice, it'd be testing his boundaries and preferences with life experiences. Some of those could definitely be early career exposure via groups and camps and such.
Throw things at the wall and see what sticks. 3-4 years of doing that at a moderate pace, would be great. Regardless of what the world looks like then, knowing yourself is evergreen for a good life. I like to think career can follow from that.

There are several things here. I think interface design is going to be pretty powerful for a bit. Malcom is correct also, managing AI is, if it is a longterm thing, going to connect heavy to competence in org structures. Business is good for that. You're freeing up your own VRAM, put it to good use
You know that one thing that title card at the end of the film about that one thing that gets revealed halfway through? yeah i bet certain ppl involved w/ that subplot are SMOLDERING rn
