@SPMVOAK Good to see someone is talking during the game 🤣

Great session with .@BES_careers

@Amypadfieldecol @BES_careers @RSKBiocensus It's always interesting to see the questions that come up.

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

@CraigBennett3 Great to see the Wildlife Trusts finally involved in one of these!

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

Amazing news @WildlifeTrusts. Can't wait to see the outcome of this work. More missing pieces of our ecosystem jigsaw potentially coming back. @vincentwildlife @DevonWildlife @CwallWildlife

#Wildcats could be released in England for first time in hundreds of years...

@horton_official Thanks for this, it made me get my act together. Once I realised you don't try to set it up through the main app I could find the other servers.

FT: Flagship UK ‘Brexit freedoms’ bill slammed as impact study ‘not fit for purpose’

>Yep, the "Retained EU law (revocation and reform) Bill" is a ridiculous, ideologically driven piece of legislation that will cause chaos, and harm the environment

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

@Mike_Pratt_NWT @WildLondon @NorthWildlife @annereece @WildlifeTrusts I love the oasis of nature too. It was a great break between family museum visits and food on a recent trip to London village

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

Add to this the many conversations I've been having around green finance and investment. Changes or just a lack of confidence in ELM could jeopardize the pioneer investors and vehicles. At a time we should be transforming and scaling up for nature recovery #COP15 @DefraNature 3/3

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

Some critical developments. Yes, some details may arrise that change outcome deliver, if unlikely. The current rumours and moves would (in my view) leave government and Environment Act commitments undeliverable. 1/3

[Tom Lancaster @tommlancaster]

ELM isn’t going to be scrapped.

But it is in a state of flux. This is what I know, as an attempt to clarify things…

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

That's the repeated manifesto pledge to leave the envi in a better state AND the biodiversity targets withing the Environment Act 2021. While this isn't the complete loss of ELM, it's just a major policy pathway that any changes can have a huge impact. 2/3

My leader in this week’s @FarmersGuardian, on the huge response to Tuesday night’s ELM story.
Pick up a copy of the magazine tomorrow for plenty more news and analysis 🗞

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

@CraigBennett3 How could there be a viable impact assessment... Oh wait, they're getting rid of that safeguard.

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

This is really important 👇

[Jo Smith @JoSmithDWT]

I will be on @BBCRadio4 talking about this tomorrow morning.

Culling badgers is not the answer, it’s just an expensive distraction. #AttackOnNature

[Tim Graham @TimEcoKipple]

Great to see. Time matters. We don't have much to make a significant difference. We also need adequate interim targets etc so the new EIP is a critical deadline as well

[Craig Bennett @CraigBennett3]

The @WildlifeTrusts have joined with other organisations and written to the @OfficeforEP to call them to investigate the failure of Govt to set environmental targets by 31st Oct 2022

(as required by a law they themselves passed just 12 months earlier)

@NHS_HW it's the little things that really help ❤️ thanks for the extra bandage for Otter that helped a nervous 5yo #LoveNHS @NHSEngland

Well, this is timely as ELMs is under the spotlight. Benefits of #AgriEnviSchemes @DefraGovUK @UK_CEH @JAppliedEcology The effects of a decade of agri‐environment intervention in a lowland farm landscape on population trends of birds and butterflies https://t.co/D795kQReLZ
