伊東純也さんや佐野海舟さんの擁護を、人権意識の欠如や女性蔑視だけで捉える人も多いようです。

もちろん、そういう側面もあるとは思います。

ただ私が問題だと思うのは、サッカー協会、森保一監督、宮本恒靖会長、疑惑のご本人たち、そしてサッカー業界全体が、性加害疑惑をあまりにも軽く見ているように見えることです。

不起訴なら問題ない。

戦力なら戻していい。

説明しなくても押し切れる。

反知性的なサッカーファンが擁護してくれる。

そう考えているのだとしたら、それは思想以前に、想像力と知性の欠如だと思います。

性加害疑惑は、単なるスキャンダ���ではありません。

人の尊厳に関わる問題です。

それを競技力で上書きしようとする感覚が、私は理解できません。

He's wielding it now as the stick to keep the ceasefire alive: cross the line again and the war stops being limited.

The bind is real, though.

Trump signed a deal premised on the war being over, then spent the week ordering strikes and threatening annihilation.

Each Iranian provocation drags him back toward the maximalism the hawks never stopped pushing.

"Complete the job" is exactly what Graham and Levin want to hear.

The question is whether Trump means it or is simply talking loudly to avoid having to do it.
