Every young man is searching for what it means to be a man. The current options are broken. One side tells him his masculinity is toxic and he needs to shrink. The other side tells him masculinity means domination and he needs to crush.
Christ offers a third way. And it is the only one that has ever actually worked.
Evangelical pastors and churches have one job with the next generation of young men.
One job.
Show them Christ. Not the safe version. Not the domesticated version.
The Christ who is dangerous and gentle. Fierce and forgiving. The strongest man who ever lived, who proved His strength not by what He could destroy but by what He chose to endure.
Young men are not looking for permission to be soft. They are not looking for permission to be cruel. They are looking for a model of manhood that is both powerful and good.
That model exists. He has existed for two thousand years.
His name is Jesus.
Teach them His character and you won’t lose them to counterfeits. Because once a man has seen the real thing, nothing else comes close.
Regardless of who sits in the Oval Office, I’ll stand with the parents of a murdered child.
I’ll stand on the idea that protecting American citizens comes first.
I’ll stand for our athletes who wore our flag and brought home gold.
I’ll stand against medicalizing kids without parental consent.
These aren’t “policy positions.”
They’re baseline human values.
If your entire political identity is just resist at all costs, even when what you’re resisting is the lowest-hanging fruit for common ground - it betrays your true incentives: power over people. The American people deserve better.
.@BenShapiro: “What’s going to make Charlie—correctly—a free speech martyr is that he was literally in the middle of using words to talk about vital issues when he was shot to death.
He died doing the thing America was supposed to be about.”
Charlie Kirk reminded us that a life of courage and virtue isn’t easy—but it’s worth living. His example should inspire us all to stand boldly for what’s right.
I am so disturbed by that new video circulating of Iryna. She didn’t even realize what had happened. She didn’t know she was dying. Her life slipped away from her and not a single person helped her. As a mom of daughters it breaks my heart to think of her as someone’s little girl. This should enrage you.
The tragic failure of natalist marketing is that nobody without kids knows that babies are a huge source of comedy and entertainment, not just a drag on an entertaining life. They are little slapstick comedians, elves, non-stop humor from baby antics, and do not mind adventure.
@jason_howerton Her logic is flawed. People only account for the mother’s income regarding childcare costs because hers would the income lost should she shift to staying home. You weigh the costs — a paycheck going entirely to daycare or no paycheck but time with your kids.
@FiveTimesAugust My family has that story, but all on the higher end of that spectrum. I don’t know if severe autism carries that same genetic connection and I think it’s worth exploring why that is (or if there is a genetic aspect to it).
@HisShadow45 @terfnurse 100% agree. My daughter is autistic but not severely so. She’s not the kid being referred to in these conversations. Parents of those severely affected deserve advocacy and support and I’m glad RFk Jr is talking about it.
@hilcrowder 💯 Men who try too hard to be funny are tiresome and self absorbed. I appreciate being with a man with a goofy sense of humor and an easy smile. He’s not put off by my quirkiness and does not demand attention to his own. Hes just funny and easy to be around.
