Hello! I’m Randy! Nice to meet you! 🤝
I’m a father, husband, I love Jesus Christ, I follow a lot of people who I don’t agree with and try to think for myself.
I try to treat everyone with respect and love, but I fail from time to time.
If you follow me, hold me accountable!
I received wonderful encouragement just now.
A friend had asked me for a bible a few months ago and now has found a church to attend. He wanted me to know he’s reading it and taking his faith seriously.
Sometimes - He speaks so clearly through your brother it’s impossible to miss.
God bless fellow weary traveller, He still hears us, He hasn’t forgotten, and He still speaks - and His sheep know His voice.
This is just on my mind tonight but, we as Christians really need to watch what passes through our minds and not entertain it. My self included. It's so important. I know for one I struggle with insulting my self, belittling my self. I struggle with other sins and they cross my mind. But I try to rebuke them. Sometimes I fail other times I do not .. but I always run to Jesus through it all. So I encourage others to please do the same. If a sinful thought pops up in your mind, please do not act on it. Re-route your mind on Christ. Be rooted in Him
Ephesians 4:22-24 New King James Version
22 that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Unpopular opinion: Being offended by biblical truth doesn't automatically mean someone was unloving.
But quoting Scripture doesn't automatically make the person speaking it loving, either.
Both truth AND love matter. As well as being lead by the Holy Spirit when you speak. Ephesians 4:15.
I hate being a woman. It seriously feels like a chronic illness. My mood swings are going crazy and the only way to "survive" is to watch YouTube all day everyday. I can't sleep. I am either raging, giddy, apathetic, or crying. Someone please jump through the door and tell me this was all an elaborate MrBeast challenge. I need out.
“Then the LORD sent bands of Babylonian, Aramean, Moabite, and Ammonite raiders against Judah to destroy it, just as the LORD had promised through his prophets. These disasters happened to Judah because of the LORD’s command. He had decided to banish Judah from his presence because of the many sins of Manasseh, who had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood. The LORD would not forgive this.”
2 Kings 24:2-4 NLT
Manasseh - “filled Jerusalem with innocent blood” - we read in chapter 22 that he completely rebuilt and added to all the pagan worship that had been done away with by Hezekiah…
He even sacrificed his own boy.
God does not want us to engage in human sacrifice - it brings only a curse upon the land of those who engage in such things.
Sometimes I wonder if the suffering the west is currently face is because of the innocent blood we spill daily in service of our own house hold gods - Comfort. Ease. Extended youth. Wealth. Freedom from Responsibility.
Whatever the case - I know God is good and He will not let sin go unanswered.
I hope and pray our culture awakens and repents - I don’t want to see the suffering and punishment that comes with unrepentant hearts bent towards selfishness.
But, again, whatever the case - He is good, wise, fair, and holy. He will make things right.
Please pray for the nations - we need softened hearts.
More copying masters tonight.
I’m enjoying this - partially because of how much it calls out error.
You know - we think we know the human body but trying to draw it, man - it really calls into question what we actually know.
I think it’s the same with trusting Jesus.
I don’t know how much I trust Him until I try to walk along that path, and find myself stumbling off of it or getting distracted.
The good news? There’s grace anew each day. He’s slow to anger, swift to forgive, and knows exactly how faulted we are - and loves us still.
I think I’ll read my bible now! 🙏🥹 God bless!
Seeking God gives me so much purpose.
I see the world so differently and appreciate what Jesus did for us so much more with every passing day.
His love is overwhelming and I strive to be more like Christ. I often fail and I am very flawed, but I won't stop trying. 🙏
