BREAKING: Fake “Juice” Factory Busted in Badagry Lagos State — Two Women Arrested, Minors Rescued

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos State Command, has shut down an illegal juice factory in Aradagun, Badagry, after a raid on Monday, 21 September 2026.

Acting on intelligence about illicit production along the Badagry corridor, operatives uncovered an unregistered facility allegedly producing and distributing Barkas Juice without authorisation.

What was recovered

• Two female suspects linked to the factory
• Packaged drinks already loaded into containers for Lagos and neighbouring states
• Industrial sugar, untreated water, dyes, chemical colourants, synthetic adhesives and production machinery
Officers also rescued juveniles aged 15 and 16 who were allegedly used as labour at the site.

The suspects are being interrogated and will be charged to court once investigations are concluded.

If you cannot trace the factory, do not trust the bottle.
