So it was not about NEET question paper leaks.
What @AmitShah has figured out from Nepal is that if you ban all social media, then there will be issue. But if you do one by one, slowly and steadily there won't be any issue.

🚨 Telegram Will Be Permanently Banned In India Due To @Meta ? 🤔
This may sound like a conspiracy theory today.
But if you connect recent developments, some uncomfortable questions start to emerge.
@telegram is one of the largest communication platforms in India with an estimated 150M+ users. It is also one of the few major messaging platforms directly competing with @WhatsApp.
Recently, Telegram CEO @durov highlighted reports claiming that Reliance was disrupting Telegram connectivity outside India through alleged BGP route hijacking incidents.
According to network researchers, unauthorized BGP announcements can affect traffic routing and service accessibility. If true, this is not just a Telegram issue. It is an Internet freedom issue.
Now look at the bigger picture:
• Meta recently invested around $900M into @0xcred .
• CRED founder @kunalb11 has been appointed to lead WhatsApp globally.
• Meta and @reliancejio already have deep business relationships in India.
• WhatsApp remains Meta's most important messaging product.
• India is Meta's biggest strategic market.
This doesn't prove coordination.
But it does raise a question:
Why are all major pieces of India's digital ecosystem becoming increasingly connected to Meta's long-term strategy?
When a company has influence across messaging, social media, payments, advertising, fintech, and telecom partnerships, competition naturally becomes a topic worth discussing.
Meanwhile Telegram continues facing regulatory pressure, connectivity concerns, and repeated calls for restrictions.
Again:
❌ No evidence currently proves Meta is behind any move to ban Telegram.
❌ No evidence proves the Indian government is planning a permanent Telegram ban.
✅ But the concentration of power across India's digital ecosystem is becoming impossible to ignore.
If Telegram were ever removed from India:
• Millions of students would lose educational communities.
• Businesses would lose communication channels.
• Creators would lose direct access to their audiences.
• Crypto and Web3 communities would be heavily impacted.
The real question isn't Telegram vs WhatsApp.
The real question is:
Should India's digital future be shaped by open competition, or by a handful of powerful companies controlling communication, payments, and information flow?

⚠️ caution: the claim that Reliance is "sabotaging" Telegram and that the government is acting on Meta's behalf is not established fact.
