For decades, shyster builders knowingly used flammable materials to build big boxes for hundreds of thousands of people to live in. It would be shocking in a tin pot third world country. But it is 21st century Britain. And flat owners have to pay for their criminal negligence.
@RobertJenrick another day of no action.
Thousands more spent in interim measures,
More lives ruined and bankrupted,
More buildings found out today they were flammable,
When will you act to resolve the situation you seem to insist is nothing to do with you?
Hoping isn't doing
UK’s new high speed rail line #HS2 is not just destroying natural capital along the line. The construction of miles of ‘temporary’ roads = miles of lost ancient hedgerows and trees. Government putting illusory economic gain before protection of nature #WorldWildlifeDay#COP26
@NHBC This should not be going ahead! In light of grenfell inquiry and recent Govt announcements it’s safe to say most new build developers have built properties with fire safety defects? Sites that these “managers” run! Maybe spend the time looking at the claims regarding fire safety!

Thank you @Keir_Starmer@UKLabour
All eyes on @HouseofCommons Monday 👀👀👀
Let’s get this straight, leaseholders are being forced to pay:
Av. £40k fire safety remediation
+ av £300 p/mnth Waking Watch
+ 1000% increases in insurance
On a flat that they can’t sell in a building they don’t own because of a problem they didn’t cause #endourcladdingscandal
BUILDING INSURANCE has risen from 2019 - £33k - 2020 - £253k - 2021 - £524k ❗️AND they want it UPFRONT! This is unmanageable abnd immoral. @EOCS_Official#EndOurCladdingScandal @MilesDilworth @thesundaytimes @LivEchonews
And yet you continue to allow costs of this scandal to fall to the innocent victims. Many of which face bankruptcy as a result.
Step up and protect leaseholders, remove us from the equation. Hold those who are responsible to account and #EndOurCladdingScandal
