Life is precious. Take lots of pictures. Laugh until your sides hurt. Forgive freely. Speak kindly about others. Live in the moment, because tomorrow is never promised.
Don’t waste your life carrying anger, resentment, or negativity. Every second you spend upset is a second of joy you’ll never get back.
Choose gratitude. Choose kindness. Choose happiness. In the end, the moments you cherish and the lives you touch will always matter far more than the things you own.
Jeez. Boris Johnson is now on French radio saying “We forget all this now because it was two or three years ago but when we had the pandemic, thanks to Brexit we had the chance to do the vaccinations in England much earlier”
I’ve debunked this absolute boll**** many times👇

@eihldops@steelershockey Whoever is making these decisions isn't fit for the role. This should be a textbook example of behaviour that deserves a suspension.
Farage says “Britain is broken”
Well yes. That’s because a bunch of absolute shysters whipped up fear and racism in a country battered by austerity, aggressively silenced opposition and lied their arses off to impose a Brexit that promised control but inevitably delivered chaos.
Are they still using 1997 prices?
For context:
The Scottish Child Payment, introduced by the SNP, not available anywhere else on these isles, that is lifting 100,000 kids out of poverty, costs closer to £500m each year.
Labour are offering scraps off the Westminster table.
Starmer confirms GB Energy isn’t an energy company but an investment arm for private sector & will not:
1) produce energy
2) sell energy
3) own any energy infrastructure
And no explanation as to how it reduces bills.
Scotland’s energy should be in Scotland’s hands.

Please RT - Don't let the Conservative party rewrite or misrepresent what happened during covid
Left: James Cleverly explains how the Conservative government took the decision to come out of lockdown faster than other countries, suggesting that was good for our economy
Right: Simon Case in his evidence to the covid inquiry a few days ago explains how coming out of lockdown faster, and opening up society faster, meant we had a higher number of covid cases, which meant that test and trace didn't work like it did in other countries
Simon Case also explained that because the government refused to take scientific advice for a circuit breaker or second lockdown like other countries did to avoid a second wave, this meant that when the UK did eventually lockdown, we had to lock down for longer and harder than other countries, which of course cost society more financially as well as emotionally
So coming out of lockdown faster, an Eat Out To Help Out Scheme which spread the virus, gave higher case numbers, made our test and trace ineffective, and delays to locking down again meant that the economy was damaged even more than other countries, and people's mental health suffered significantly because of it
Almost everything the Conservative party did during the first two years of covid was a catastrophe, never let them forget that. And on July 4th, vote for whichever party will remove your Conservative MP: Labour, LibDem, Green, SNP - anyone
Respect yourself enough not to allow these charlatans back into office. Get a little dignity in your life.
Disabled people having vouchers instead of cash benefits buys into the idea we are scroungers who can’t be trusted not to spend the cash on fags and booze.
When the Tories get their arse handed to them at the election, I’m spending my PIP on fucking champagne.
An asylum backlog of 100,000 people and growing. A Rwanda plan that may forcibly deport c. 100 at a cost of half a £Bn and growing. A refusal to process any claims. It’s not meant to work. It’s meant to hurt and hate and divide. That’s all this govt does.

@_draney I've watched it a few times and I was there on the night. Harms got a 2+2 on the play for that, and if I remember right Cardiff got the game winner off the resulting powerplay. But that's not suspension worthy.
@_draney Crawford hitting the deck like a sack of spuds was pure embellishment to draw a further penalty. A gloved punch from 18" away isn't going to put a guy the size of Crawford flat on his face.
