Becker guru / CPA

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

I'm one of life's most boring people. I sit at home and I read my FASBs and my Internal Revenue Code.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

@FakePeterOlinto a wild man. Pete likes to spend his free time in his convertible Bentley, cruising, looking for Lady Gaga.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

An emotionally handicapped group...like CPA candidates

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

The IRS is one of two entities in the entire world that can be completely wrong but dictate the terms of surrender. My wife is the second.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

What the heck is excess FICA? Do you suffer from excess FICA?

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

Undesirables are CPA candidates who failed the exam more than 5 times.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

I would suggest a good example of a special needs child is that little toddler who all of a sudden seems to want to become a CPA.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

I'd like to look like @FakePeterOlinto. The doctor comes in and goes "Mmm, I don't think we're going to be able to make you look that good."

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

Couple of guys in the back of the room when I'm teaching live ask, "Wow, can we deduct this stuff we're smoking right now and blazing?"

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

Catch up meaning you can accelerate, it's not like the stuff you put on your hamburgers...

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

He follows Lindsay Lohan until she's finally had enough stuff put in her that she decides to marry Pete.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

She gets the house, I get the mortgage. That doesn't sound like a very good deal to me, but that's the deal we finally cut.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

When it says Peter's single I get that. But it says he lives alone in Idaho. Does that mean he's the only human being that lives in Idaho?

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

What was her status? Sucker, right, it was sucker, it was not head of household.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

I spend all of my free time reading the Internal Revenue Code.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

I get off on sitting there and preparing people to pass the CPA exam.

[Tim Gearty @TimGearty]

Many of you might think that being a CPA candidate makes you totally or permanently disabled, but they mean legitimately.
