Craig Guildford is not just refusing to go over Maccabi Tel Aviv scandal - officers are now gagged on speaking about his future
Internal briefing issued today tells cops what to say if asked he should be sacked. They are told it’s “unprofessional” to comment
I have sacked Robert Jenrick from the Shadow Cabinet, removed the whip and suspended his party membership with immediate effect.
I was presented with clear, irrefutable evidence that he was plotting in secret to defect in a way designed to be as damaging as possible to his Shadow Cabinet colleagues and the wider Conservative Party.
The British public are tired of political psychodrama and so am I. They saw too much of it in the last government, they’re seeing too much of it in THIS government.
I will not repeat those mistakes.

BREAKING:
Sir Laurie Magnus found that Angela Rayner breached the ministerial code because she failed to apply for expert tax advice on the purchase of her flat
She received advice 'in two instances' that she could pay the lower rate of stamp duty BUT in both cases the advice was caveated
She was told 'it did not constitute expert tax advice' and that in one case she was advised that 'specific tax advice should be obtained'
Magnus says it is 'deeply regrettable that the specific tax advice was not sought'
Hefound that she had breached the ministerial code and failed to comply with the 'overarching duty' on ministers to 'comply with the law and protect the integrity of public life'
He said she failed to meet with the 'highest possible standards of proper conduct'

Kirsty Coventry's election as the first female president of the IOC may seem like a positive step, but she is very much the establishment's choice, with Thomas Bach lobbying hard for her (almost certainly against the rules).
Do not expect reform or change at IOC, WADA, CAS etc.
Last May, we revealed that Sacha Lord's company, Primary Event Solutions, was granted £400k off the back of a misleading funding application in 2021.
Last night, Lord resigned as Andy Burnham's night time economy advisor, and today the Arts Council asked for the money back.
