The website has now automatically rebooked me on some dystopian multi-leg journey invoking a 12hr layover from 10pm in Zurich airport before connecting to Frankfurt and on to Nairobi.
Flights cancelled due to the @Lufthansa_DE strike and trying to rebook via the Chat Assistant (auto message on call centre just tells you to call later and hangs up) is truly the stuff of shockingly badly designed AI nightmares.

Judi Dench was on Graham Norton last night to push her new book about her life and work with Shakespeare. After making the point we quote Shakespeare daily without knowing it, this happened:
Suella Braverman used £25k of expenses to pay her parents Energy Bills for 5 years when she occasionally stayed there rent free.
Then she calls other people scroungers.
I absolutely believe that somebody told Nadine Dorries this and I congratulate them heartily on keeping a straight face. That she believed such bilge is, of course, utterly unsurprising.
