@SimonCalder No. I asked BA for a confirmation of this before travelling, and not only would they not confirm this is actual policy (it's not on their website) they said there was a chance I'd be denied boarding on the return flight to the UK. From Germany.

Endured the bloodless reworking of #MidwichCuckoos and it has the emotional depth and appearance of a building society advert. Full of contrivances, plot holes and characters so lifeless they could have been written by aliens.
