The coming of President Tinubu into office has benefited the South East more than any other region if you consider where we are coming from as a people.

This Enugu International Hospital (EIH) is not just a hospital but a life-changing project by the Enugu State Govt and the FG.

I always knew that Tinubu was doing marvelously well in the South East, but joining this Renewed Hope Presidential Media Tour has opened my eyes to some other key areas where this man has impacted Ndi-Igbo in just three years.

For those of us who grew up here, we understand the history. There was a time when getting quality healthcare meant travelling to Lagos, Abuja, India or Europe if you could afford it.

Many families sold properties to save loved ones. Many did not return home alive. Successive governments talked about transforming the health sector, but very little changed.

The South East remained a region with some of the brightest doctors in the world, yet many of our people still had to leave the region to receive treatment!
