@hauserdan @algore Umm…First, it seems you didn’t understand the difference between exercising options and selling shares. You should “research” that. Second, this article is about a fund of which Gore is a cofounder. He could have donated $10m and still be a co-founder.

@hauserdan @algore Nobody sane is estimating his wealth at $1b. Realistic estimates are $250-500. Second, he EXERCISED options on Apple shares worth $30m at that time. Exercising options is different than selling the shares. He then held most of them as Apple share prices increased wildly.
