@Aiannucci But it briefly stopped Boris Johnson voting yesterday, so worked on one untrustworthy voter. A policy so discriminatory against the young must be one of the first to go after the next election.
In 2011, 17 people waited more than 12 hours in A&E, and that was considered scandalous. The current Government have normalised it for more than 140,000 to wait for more than 12 hours. It’s time for a change.
@lunaperla@mikegalsworthy@afneil@MailOnline In 2011, a total of 17 people waited in A&E for more than 12 hours and that was considered a failure. This Government have normalised it that over 140,000 people will face the same 12 hour+ wait.
@DanielRoyParkin@VikkiSlade72 Why over complicate it? If the only reason to drive through the park is to avoid queuing traffic, then that problem is abated outside of rush hour anyway. A permanent closure to traffic opens up options to change the drainage at keyhole bridge for all round pedestrians access?
@DanielRoyParkin@VikkiSlade72 I commute daily on a bike to the hospital through the park. I would say almost daily I have a car that passes too close and cuts me up in their dash to use the park as a rat run. Less cars in any park has to be a positive.
@MarinaPurkiss@JohnnyMercerUK Jonny’s Government (illegally) cut veterans’ pensions by 25%; wonder if that played any part in the rise in veterans’ homelessness 🤔. Bet he doesn’t own that fact.
@VikkiSlade72@biztradegovuk Meanwhile in the actual world, my car insurance, home insurance and energy costs have increased by over 50% in the last year (my wages by 6%). Their priorities are not improving our lives at all. Time for a change.
Prophylactically cough assisting a GBS patient to enable day release to be with family, and fitting a speaking valve for a tracheostomy patient in time for them to FaceTime their granddaughter; simple treatments take on greater significance on Christmas Day. @UHDTherapies
Today I worked with three junior doctors and six nurses who would be ineligible to come and work in the NHS if the govt’s desperate dog-whistle of a policy to raise the earning cap to £35k goes through. That would reduce the staffing levels by 33%. But maybe that’s the plan?
