@SkyHydrate As a life long Mavs fan back to the 80s, this the worst front office move ever for them- they left so much on the table! Really hope this works this year and next because after that we are screwed
@jessbaker81 @MNIBSchools The Fridley IB for All case study was shared, so you were there and the amazing foundation you developed is helping us continue that work.
@Willie_Vang Kim, Henry, Juliet, and I send love your way. You and Kelly are such amazing people and Angelo was so lucky to have the two of you for parents. He is a beautiful soul. Love you brother
Thank you @validateaffirm for the opportunity to share my journey to responsiveness. Just like being coached by Dr. Hollie, it was a transformative experience to be interviewed by him. I am so blessed to be a part of VABBnation!

FWTeachers, we must stop narrative that students come to school to be loved. Assumption that “these kids”
aren’t loved at home is rubbish. These kids=code for BIPOC &/or lower socio-econ status. That belief is based on inherent bias & racism. End it. #saviorcomplex#edutwitter
This is heartbreaking to read, but the courage, fearlessness and bravery Darnella has shown is just breathtaking. I pray this young woman finds some semblance of peace.

So, I was a bawling mess. Minneapolis Roosevelt High School held a march to George Floyd Square and…cue the waterworks. I have learned so much from these young people about the work I have had to do at 38th and Chicago Ave. in pursuit of justice. They continue to teach me.
