@honestly_hun@BlackMajikMan90@DiscussingFilm I actually think the more compelling angle here is not that they've taken it away, but that they may've presented it in a different light.
That's the possibility that has me most intrigued.
@JackMorelli13 @ALargerViewPod I was about to respond, but you expressed my sentiments exactly in your second sentence. Cassian choosing to give up on his sister is in my mind the decision he has to make, but the show needs to communicate clearly what he's deciding on screen.
@MikeCagley@Fringe_Centrist@DynamoSuperX Admittedly it's been a very long time since I've seen the episode, but wasn't that part of the point of it? That her death was just colossal bullshit, and the crew had to process that she or anyone could die in such a pointless way.
Another example is Kat's death in Halo Reach.
@alsoabouteve@PanderShirts I was originally going to say a crap tonne of lighting and/or colour editing. But mostly I think it's the depth of field combined with Twitter's image compression.
It's the same amount of pixelation that AI typically produces as well as the focus being only on the subject.
