Roy Timmons isn’t a politician by trade—he’s a veteran, a nurse, a father, and a grandfather who believes service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off.
After being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 2006, Roy came home and went straight to work serving his community. He attended Indian Capital Technology Center to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, then earned his associate’s degree from Connors State College. He has a passion for helping people when they need it most.
As a hospice nurse, Roy has sat with families during their hardest moments—when words are few and compassion matters most. That work showed him how government decisions don’t stay in Oklahoma City; they land right at the kitchen table of working families, seniors, and rural communities.
Roy is a proud father of four and grandfather of eight. Service runs deep in his family. Two of his children, along with a son-in-law and daughter-in-law, have all served in the U.S. Army. For Roy, patriotism isn’t a slogan—it’s a way of life passed down through generations.
That’s why Roy is running for the Oklahoma House in District 14.
He believes our district deserves a representative who answers to the people who live here—not lobbyists, special interests, or political insiders. Roy is a conservative who believes in limited government, personal responsibility, and protecting our freedoms—but he also believes those values mean nothing if you forget the people behind them.
Roy doesn’t take lobbyist money. His campaign is powered by neighbors who want honesty, accountability, and a representative who will vote the will of the district and come home afterward.
Roy Timmons lives here. He’s served here. And he’s running to make sure House District 14’s future is as strong as the families who call it home.
🇺🇸 Oklahoma Voters: Be Informed Before You Vote on August 25
The August 25 election includes two statewide questions that could have a lasting impact on Oklahoma. Whether you vote YES or NO, I encourage everyone to take a few minutes to learn what each measure would do and think about how it could affect our state.
I’ve put together this graphic to explain the two state questions and to share where I stand on each one. You may agree or disagree—and that’s okay. The important thing is that every voter makes an informed decision based on the facts, not just campaign slogans or social media posts.
Read the proposals, do your own research, ask questions, and then make the choice you believe is best for Oklahoma.
An informed voter is a stronger voter.

After numerous people have reached out to me and after much prayer and reflection, I have made a decision.
I will once again be a candidate for Oklahoma House District 14 in 2028.
While we didn’t achieve the result we hoped for in 2026, I am incredibly proud of what we built together. As a first-time candidate, we proved that a grassroots campaign fueled by hard work, conviction, and the support of ordinary people can make a real impact.
I am humbled by everyone who voted, volunteered, prayed, shared a post, put up a sign, or simply encouraged me along the way. Your continued support and the many messages asking me to run again have meant more than you know.
This campaign has never been about lobbyists, insiders, or political titles. It has always been about the people of District 14 and making sure working families, seniors, veterans, and our children’s future come first.
So, with faith in God and confidence in the people of this district, I’m ready to get back to work.
The Front Porch Tour isn’t over.
See you in 2028.
— Roy Timmons
Army Veteran • Nurse • Conservative Republican
I’m honored to be rated in https://t.co/xkHaoSkXj1 “CONSERVATIVE” while my opponent is rated “LEANS MODERATE.”
I’ve pledged to take no lobbyist money and no PAC money because I believe House District 14 belongs to the people—not the insiders.
As an Army veteran and nurse, I’ll continue putting faith, family, freedom, and our constitutional rights first.
June 16th, the choice is yours.
A Conservative or one who merely leans that direction.
No lobbyists. No insiders. Just the people.
Honored to receive the endorsement of @PatrioticMaster.
I’m grateful for the support of grassroots conservatives who believe in faith, family, freedom, and putting people ahead of lobbyists and insiders.
As an Army veteran and nurse, I will continue fighting for House District 14 and for the conservative principles that make Oklahoma strong.
June 16th, let’s take our district back.

Just a reminder to voters:
Earlier this year, Representative Chris Sneed publicly supported the Hulbert Public Schools bond proposal that would have increased property taxes by approximately 28%.
That increase would have affected homeowners, farmers, businesses, seniors on fixed incomes, and retirees throughout the district.
I believe we must support education, but we must also protect taxpayers. Families are already dealing with higher costs, and many seniors and retirees simply cannot afford another major property tax increase.
As your next State Representative, I’ll continue to stand for responsible spending and oppose policies that place additional burdens on the people who have worked their entire lives and are trying to enjoy retirement.
On June 16th, voters have a choice:
More of the same, or a conservative voice that puts taxpayers first.
Honored to be Wake Oklahoma’s choice for House District 14.
As a grassroots conservative, Army veteran, and hospice nurse, I’m grateful for the support and will continue fighting for faith, family, freedom, and government that answers to the people not the lobbyists.
Early voting begins Thursday. Election Day is June 16. Let’s finish strong.
HB 1964 would have expanded parental rights in Oklahoma schools.
It was assigned to committee.
It was never given a hearing.
It was never given a vote.
It simply died in committee.
For legislators who have signed Parent Pledges, Oklahoma parents deserve an answer:
❓Why wasn't HB 1964 even given a hearing?
Actions speak louder than campaign promises.
