Michigan’s Co-Defensive Coordinator, Steve Clinkscale, appears to have deleted his X account (this was active just earlier this week posting to recruits).

Michigan fans are asking on the On3 message board about possible assistant coaches involved in the sign-stealing scandal.

Chris Balas has refused to elaborate but did seem to indicate that Clinkscale is not involved.

Earlier today, it is believed new news regarding Michigan’s sign-stealing scandal was given to Michigan by the NCAA/Big Ten.

Could there be a connection between Steve Clinkscale deleting his account, Chris Balas refusing to answer questions, and the new news from the NCAA?

Steve Clinkscale’s Instagram is still active, though it has not been posted since August 25th.

Time will tell. All of this could be nothing, or it could be new information.

I asked my source today if this could be related to the TRO by Michigan tomorrow. Their response was, “It’s not a coincidence.”

The Big 10 might stop their investigation but I BET the NCAA isn’t done! That’s who fed the Big 10 the info anyway to start the suspension.

@AdamBreneman81 Yikes! CJF always talks about "explosive play battle" and nothing about the offense this year is explosive. Especially in the OSU and Michigan games.

Here are some interesting Penn State football stats from my newsletter this morning. At the end of the day, this was the main reason James Franklin had to move on from Mike Yurcich — the lack of explosiveness…

Just 8.9% of Penn State’s plays this season qualify as explosive gains.

Per TruMedia, explosive plays qualify as 12-plus rushing yards in a single attempt and passing gains of 16-plus yards.

That ranks No. 126 among all FBS teams.

Also, Penn State ranks last in the FBS in 20-plus yard plays — with just 3.4% of plays resulting in chunk yardage spanning 20 yards.
