That’s a nice attempt at word games, but Trump literally said at his August 17, 2024 campaign rally:
“Under Trump, we will have no more wars, no more disruptions, and we will have prosperity and peace for all.”
He also repeatedly told voters, “I’m going to stop wars,” promised to end the Ukraine war, stop the chaos in the Middle East and prevent World War III.
So no, this wasn’t merely some narrowly worded promise about “forever wars.” He absolutely sold himself to voters as the president who would STOP wars and bring peace.
You can defend what he’s doing now if you want, but rewriting what he actually campaigned on isn’t a defense. I voted based in part on those promises. Words matter, especially when you’re asking people for their vote.
You’re mixing some real facts with conclusions that don’t follow from them.
Yes, inflation was bad under Biden. Nobody has to pretend otherwise. But that meme claiming 29% overall inflation under Biden is false. Official BLS CPI went from 261.582 in January 2021 to 317.671 in January 2025, which is roughly 21.4% cumulative inflation, not 29%.
And saying Trump has now “stabilized inflation” is pretty premature. Inflation was 2.4% in January 2026. By June it was back up to 3.5%. Food was up 3%, energy 15.7%, and gasoline 26.7% year over year.
Then there’s your claim that lost purchasing power “does not reverse unless prices fall.” That’s simply wrong. Purchasing power can recover when wages rise faster than prices. Deflation is NOT required. That is literally why economists measure “real wages” and “real earnings” after adjusting for inflation.
And Trump’s tariffs aren’t some free affordability program either. Federal Reserve researchers estimated that tariffs implemented through November 2025 raised core-goods consumer prices about 3.1% by February 2026. Other Fed research found tariff-exposed retail prices increased while household spending declined.
So yes, Biden deserves criticism for the inflation that happened on his watch. But you don’t get to turn around and call Trump the “President of Affordability” while inflation is higher than it was in January, energy costs have risen, and his own tariff policies have been documented as raising consumer prices.
Blaming Biden for every price increase while giving Trump credit for every decrease isn’t economics. It’s politics.
Calling me a “fool” doesn’t change what happened. Yes, the Supreme Court forced the refunds — because it struck down Trump’s use of IEEPA to impose those tariffs. That doesn’t refute my point, it strengthens it.
About $100 BILLION has already been refunded to importers, while the consumers who actually absorbed higher prices generally have no direct claim to that money. Walmart alone has been expecting roughly $2.4B, Apple got about $2.2B, Amazon $600M, and Nike has already received over $300M and expects nearly $1B total.
And spare me the claim that Americans didn’t pay for the tariffs. The New York Fed found nearly 90% of the economic burden fell on U.S. businesses and consumers, and Federal Reserve researchers found the 2025 tariffs raised core-goods prices about 3.1%.
So the sequence is pretty simple: Trump imposed the tariffs, Americans paid higher prices, the Supreme Court struck the tariffs down, and now billions are flowing back to corporate importers rather than the customers who paid those marked-up prices.
And while we’re lecturing everyone about politicians and taxpayer money, Forbes reported Trump’s own fortune more than doubled from $2.3B to $5.1B in one year, and currently estimates him at $6.5B.
You can explain why the corporations are getting the refunds all day long. It doesn’t make the outcome any less ridiculous.
@Revolutioig9 The cop one was dumb. I seen multiple assaults on a officer . You get case and you get a case you know what u get... a https://t.co/JHBVhLoRb2
@EricLDaugh Really how long till that takes affect. Where does it go and will Iran and houthis not sabotage it everytime they get. Mass oil spills and fires like we seen in kawait.
@bettyboop7499@thehatecrew615@its_The_Dr My friend was shot over flirting with the wrong girl. Homeboy shot him 3 times in the neck. Playing with people sometimes is playing Russian roulette.
@NefariousNora@its_The_Dr The responses you got for pointing out the obvious was wrong. They were picking shit. They were acting more like liberals. Hell Tennessee has become blue hasn't it?
@RichardAngwin@EricLDaugh Why would it block anyone. I'm poor but I have a birth certificate and my wife has hers plus the marriage certificate. You have to have them to get a license.
Everyone thinks free speech is you can say anything you want. But no free speech means you won't be arrested for what you say. But people are emotional beings. Emotion isnt logical. So if you say something that pushes buttons then expect a emotional response. If your assaulted or killed then the perpetrator will be arrested. And some might believe those repercussions are worth it. So when you speak think about what you are saying. You can always get the same point across with another way of wording it so it's not offensive and if offensive is what your aiming for then take responsibility for your words.
