semi-related: I've heard tales from the older generation of finding objects in central or south american-grown bales. either to add weight (stones, hammers, wrenches) or due to sheer carelessness (stones, dead birds and lizards).
non-cannabis things I found in pounds of herb back in my purchasing days at the dispensary:
~Fiskars scissors (several times)
~a rolled, unsmoked joint (once. and yes, I smoked it)
~latex gloves (many, many times)
~a half eaten sandwich inside of a dirty latex glove
@Steven_Hyden Can vividly remember hearing Diamond Sea for the 1st time at First Ave in 1995 (and again at Target Center the next night when they opened for REM). My friend & I immediately declared it to be SY's "Dark Star"... Needless to say this feels perfectly full circle to me.
@Sagnamadr turns out that chronicler who referred to norse singing as sounding like the 'baying of dogs' (if I recall correctly) was not far off the mark!
Hey @rawkandrolling, your team at @HIGH_TIMES_Mag is doing great work at rebalancing the company's karma. Appearing in HT back in 2015 is still one of the highlights of my career. Solidarity!
