Because @LeaderJohnThune has no interest in doing what is right for the American people. He is a swamp rat. Gaveling in during recesses just to stop recess appointments is just another prime example of his motives.

Note: Ultimately, if a bill is blocked or altered by a parliamentarian's ruling [very much left leaning these days], it remains that way because the majority party chooses not to use their voting power to override the advice. Just shows the weakness of Thune!!

@atensnut Yep. Barrett is a huge disappointment. @MarkMeadows was a huge advocate of hers. Mark is probably kicking himself on this one. This is like planting a garden on your property without your permission, but you have to water it and take care of it, but I get all that it produces.

@libsoftiktok Hmm. So, the Supreme Court just ruled for separating families. Parents are still illegal, so they can be deported. Guess the wall needs to be stronger and no pregnant foreign women should be granted Visas and no visa should be longer than 8 months.
