Is UX is Dying? 👾 As technology changes & user needs evolve, UX designers need to adapt their skills & approach. The short answer is no. UX is not dying. It is evolving, just like any field. However, there are some challenges that UX is facing. 👇 🎆 One challenge is the rise of AI & automation. Some people worry that AI will eventually automate the need for UX designers. However, I believe that AI will be a tool that UX designers can use to create even better user experiences. So, How do you envision the role of AI in UX design? 🤖 🎇 Another challenge is the increasing complexity of digital products & services. UX designers need to be able to understand & manage complex systems in order to create user experiences that are both effective & enjoyable. What's your take on managing complexity in UX design? 🎛 ✨ Despite these challenges, the future of UX is bright. As our world becomes increasingly digitized, the need for UX designers will only grow. We play a critical role in creating products & services that are easy to use & enjoyable for people. 😇 Here are some of the ways that UX is evolving: Focus on design ethics 👉 We are increasingly being called upon to consider the ethical implications of our work. This includes things like designing products & services that are inclusive & accessible to everyone, that protect user privacy, & that are aligned with the company's mission & values. How do you approach ethical considerations in your UX design projects? 🖲 Data-driven design 👉 We are using data more than ever to inform our design decisions. This data can come from a variety of sources, such as user surveys, usability testing, analytics data, & customer feedback. What are some innovative ways you've used data in UX design recently? 📊 Collaboration with other disciplines 👉 We are working more closely with other disciplines, such as AI, data science, machine learning, & product management. This collaboration is leading to the development of new & innovative user experiences. How has cross-disciplinary collaboration influenced your UX design process? 🤝 Focus on business strategy 👉 We are increasingly being involved in the early stages of product development, where we can help to define the product vision & strategy. This ensures that the user experience is aligned with the business goals & objectives. How do you balance business strategy with user-centric design in your UX projects? 💼 👾 UX designers who are able to adapt to these changes & trends will be the most successful in the future. Had the opportunity to drive a @Tesla up Mt Wilson on my layover in LA. An absolutely beautiful car but sadly the Mt Wilson antenna interfered with the remote and I got locked out - stranded for 4 hours, missed my flight and had to buy accomodation for the night. Otherwise great!
