My thoughts.
After 5 mins : this could be ten.
At half time : We’re going to fuck this up.
Going 3:2 up. We might do this.
Penalty: We’ve got this now.
After the pen miss : We’re going to fuck this up.
After we go 4:2 up : thank fuck for that.
WHAT’S THE ATLANTA SCORE 😳
I love football’s capacity to surprise.
As the glorious Messi and Ronaldo era, arguably the most intense personal battle between two superstars in the history of the game, nears its conclusion…
A French lightening bolt cracks and looks set to dominate…
Only for the most complete 16 year old I’ve ever seen… so talented, so confident, so accurate in his play… to emerge from nowhere.
BREAKING:
Tom Kerridge is the only chef in the country with a two Michelin star pub. He's backing Labour in the General Election.
He tells me:
"As a business leader I understand the point of capitalism... business encouragement and growth, however none of that happens without a work force that's happy, none of that happens if there's a work force that can't get to work, the transportation system's bad, or their kids aren't educated properly, or they can't get to see a doctor... A work force needs to be looked after for any business to thrive."
How refreshing.

Every single one of them a combination of disgrace & disaster...
And, from the BBC to the Telegraph, every single journalist who facilitated their obvious awfulness or simply failed to call it out remains in post...
'It's a lawyerly tactic James, we all do it...'
'He effectively let Rishi Sunak hang himself with it.'
Caller Philo, a retired lawyer, explains to @mrjamesob the motivation behind Keir Starmer's reaction to the PM's '£2000 tax attack'.
ITV should have corrected Rishi Sunak's already repeatedly-debunked false claims live.
It's not 'impartiality' to allow blatant lies to be broadcast to millions uncorrected https://t.co/c62kSq3mBO
This is an excellent bit of comms by Labour. Jon Richardson, in a bath with a beer, telling you how Sunak made his millions from the downfall of our economy.
Really important message, brilliantly delivered.
Sunak talking about his "first flat "
When Sunak was 29 years old..
he and his wife rented a beachfront flat in Santa Monica, California
for $20,000 A MONTH
Just like all of us eh?

I am not suggesting for a moment that anyone feel a scintilla of sympathy for Sunak. He deserves to be humiliated, hosed down & then humiliated again. But the party falling apart in his hands is the result of Brexit & Johnson & the responsibility of *everyone* who supported both.
