@highdefdigest@MEnoisDuarte The feedback/tips/submission forms don't work on your site as the captcha is broken. There's also a small error in the A Better Tomorrow Trilogy 4K review if I can tell someone that can fix it.
@dubesinhower@ElectriX_DC IDK how much pwr/$ sata-pcie saves over hba, but 16 port sata-pcie was cheaper than smaller #-of-drives hba a year ago, so it was an easy choice. 16 port syba pci card was $100 on ebay then... now the 8 port card is $120. The non-sas connections are kind of annoying but whatever
@dubesinhower@ElectriX_DC U need to avoid sata multiplexers and marvell controllers if going pcie-sata, many pcie-sata cards will use 1xASM chip with multiplexer(s) so you have to review carefully. I can't remember but these might be the sources I used: https://t.co/LjRJBk9HnG & https://t.co/LlvY54mJTx
@leonkiriliuk@jeffqchen@jormungandrizer@Arthrimus I had one of these: https://t.co/BcKO61Kj0r
No native mp3 support and crappy software, not sure why I went this direction. Maybe because of itunes drm?
@leonkiriliuk@PixelFXco No worries, and completely agree it's still great. I prbly don't need the final fw, just being 'complete'. I believe DCHDMI/DCdigital HW1 are interchangeable names, I think they took hdmi out of the name to avoid the hdmi consortium's scrutiny/extortionate fees.
@leonkiriliuk@PixelFXco "DC"dig"HW1" - not n64dig/HW2 - it isn't listed on that page. IIRC I read that it was more work to get the final DC HW1 fw and the updater stopped working. I don't see a download on pixelfx or github, but when I get around to it, I'll research more or email Dan (who is great).
