@JDVance You won’t read this. But you should know it anyway. Southampton is the City I grew up in. The 60s and 70s. It was multiracial then as it is now. As a port city it has welcomed others for centuries. This isn’t an issue of ethnicity. It is a tragedy of police errors. To be fixed.
It’s objectively fucking terrifying that the Vice President of the United isn’t just furthering an extremist far right fallacy on the global stage, but openly interfering in British politics, all while weaponising the murder of a young man. His poor family.
This is NOT normal.
@lucyhighnett I have always valued your insight and appreciate your opinion. I disagree this time - but that’s fine. We’ll all still support Saints when the season starts.
@BBCSport The thing is, no one really knows what happened, who participated and knew about it. Until those details are known it’s all a bit of a mystery.
@AlfieHouseEcho An analysis on US tv said 5 penalties were missed. With VAR they may have been given. My feeling watching the game was that the referee didn’t want ‘possible’ penalties to decide the game. And I’m thankful for that. I don’t think any of them were clear cut enough in real time.
@JustSkadi@ICEgov You do realize that a significant portion of the south west of the US speak Spanish as their primary language- as thatboert of the country was colonized by the us.
