this seems like a personal problem?
The lack of agency here is startling. You had two glasses of wine. Get up and go to the gym and don’t use it as an excuse for why you ate like shit
and then don’t let a stat impact you in such a way you don’t work through it
shit I’ve had glasses of wine before the gym lolll
domino effects are v real and cutting back on drinking is of course a good idea but this story kinda Charmin soft

"I can't even be that mad. I flexed on him at Millrose, I know he can't let that slide.
"All I'll say is at least come up with your own (celebration). It's already been done before. I'll remember that one though, for sure..."
Cole Hocker on Josh Kerr's night-night celebration:
I’m excited to announce my new photobook, Generations.
300 pages documenting over 7 years of @tinmanelite. From training camps to races and everything in between, we all started our creative journeys as interns with team and as they grew as athletes, we grew as creatives.
300 pages. 9.65x12, hardcover. Printed on fine art paper.
Orders will ship late May, with in person launch and programming BoulderBolder weekend! Thanks for the support.
A project that has been months (technically years) in the making finally gets to launch this week and I couldn't be more pumped. Newsletter going out Wednesday morning with details...
(yeah when I was 19 I'd rip shoots in slides... what's it to you)
Travelled to Norway to speak to Jakob Ingebrigtsen. He was fascinating on so many things, including his obsession with winning, autism, his love of cars and so much more https://t.co/KhGVtg6d5o
I’m once again trying to get Aux at the Armory.
Give me an open practice and then Dr Sanders and then, if approved by the board, I’ll run it back at Millrose.
i made a movie about excuses. tbh i wasnt going to make another movie about running marathons then i realized that was an excuse. - https://t.co/jeCj9KEWlW

a fun and needed convergence of the “hybrid athlete” trend + increased marathon participation would be
Climbing up and down the ladder and racing multiple distances fast (or to the best of their abilities)
show more variety in distances + increase overall athleticism anyway
v little chance you’re running a short distance fast if you’re not working on other skills such as strength / power
Cannot retweet this hard enough. Marathons are amazing. So are 5ks, miles, treadmill runs, etc. Find what you love and is sustainable and do it!
If I was faster, I wouldn’t be running marathons.
With all the love the marathon is getting, let it inspire you to just get moving NOT necessarily to run a marathon
5-10 minutes of running a day, even at slow speeds, can improve health
If that 5 minutes turns into 26.2 miles, great! But if not that’s fine too
Just Start!
