With the MLB Draft slowly approaching, I decided to write an article on my Top 10 College SP in the draft. As the draft comes closer the goal is to eventually expand this list. Would appreciate any feedback and would love to answer any questions

Taylor Rabe (Ole Miss) isn't being talked about enough.
Started 2026 as a reliever before making the transition to starter. While the results haven't been great the underlying traits are there. He has 5 pitches, a FB/SI/CT/CH/SL, has been up to 99 and has a BB% under 3.5

Big fan of Evan Dempsey (FGCU):
As a 2-way player, he is slashing .346/.423/.557 so far. However he's much more interesting as a pitcher. His FB averages 92 and has touched 95. He has a Slider and a big sweeping Curveball (-10 IVB/-20 HB), that are developing, and should come along with his 80 grade feel for spin, (3000+ rpms). He's shown a rare Changeup at 84. Once Dempsey gets to focusing only on pitching at the next level its clear to see the potential.

Cal Randall (UCLA) might be the best RP available in the draft
Heavy dose of Fastballs at over 85% usage, 96-98 T100.7, gets great ride, 18.6" IVB, from a super low 5.2 ft release with 7ft of extension. Changeup is copycat movement at 89-91, Slider is 87-88 with 5.5" IVB -3" HB
Brodie Purcell (FSU) is such an intriguing arm to look at.
It's an over-the-top slot with tons of carry on the 4-Seam, 23.7" IVB, at 92-93 T95. Slider at 83-84 with 4.5" IVB and -1" HB. Changeup is 85-86 and he's somehow able to get to 5" IVB and 16" HB from his slot. He'll also mix in the occasional low 80s Curveball. His secondaries have been insane so far, with all of them having a Whiff% of 55+. Walks have been the major issue for Purcell, he's sporting a 13.5 BB%, and is what is holding him back.
26’ Eligible
Tennessee RHP Tegan Kuhns is one of the weirdest evals in the draft. Limited arsenal development room brings relief risk, but the fastball is unbelievable; 20” iVB from a 5.5’ relH at 94-95 t99 creates a super flat VAA. Freaky athlete with long extremities and a 4.6% walk rate.
