For those who were unimpressed with the partial eclipse, I turned it into an "Eclipse Sun-dae" - chocolate at the bottom and cream on top, served in a golden dish.

The eclipse progresses in a zig-zag - easiest to follow starting at the bottom left and working upwards.

@davidyelland @BBCSounds Simon raised Rumsfeld's "unknown unknowns" speech. While, not very appropriate WRT Iraqi WMDs, recognising that "unknown unknowns" might exist is crucial when formulating government policy or any complex system - otherwise the "law of unintended consequences" strikes. 🧵

@davidyelland @BBCSounds I designed software used daily by 10M households - it was trialled by 20k "tame" households first in case a problem that we hadn't considered earlier cropped up. Meta's "move fast and break things" recognises the same problem but mitigates it by quickly reverting changes.

@SandersREJ @jjaron @BBCSounds doesn't work on my 2015 iPod (@BBCiPlayerRadio did) + I also listen to podcasts from @NPR and @pushkinpods - all available from Apple. I'm not buying a new iPod just for the BBC.
